We stopped by Casa Blanca as we were passing through town. If we hadn’t read the reviews online first we wouldn’t have stopped in. The exterior is basic white block construction, not the most inviting place. When you go inside it is your typical small town type of restaurant. The service is friendly and efficient, they even have iPads for taking orders. The menu is surprisingly diverse all be it almost entirely comfort food. If you are looking for a substantial meal… you can’t go wrong here! The servings are affordable, hearty, quality and served hot. You can tell the locals appreciate this place and my wife tells me it is well known in the area. We ended up taking home two boxes of leftovers. You can easily split the Sea Food Special. It was a massive plate and very fresh. I gave them 4 stars because they could definitely improve the interior decor and exterior curb appeal but ultimately the food was good and so was the service. I would definitely go back even though ambiance is not their strong point… I guess what I am saying is don’t pass it up just because it’s lacking curb appeal. You won’t be disappointed.

I love restaurants like this. The food was cooked fresh, and it tasted like your grandmother made it. If I could suggest anything, I would say if y'all double fried your French fries, they would be absolutely perfect! Thank you, Gisele, for warm and attentive service.

This place reminds me of Liberty Tx and my grandparents. It's a converted old 🏠 and a quaint little spot. The staff was friendly and the checked fried steaks we're worth the drive. I recommend you make this a stop on your way to the beach.

Horrible experience. We got up at 6 am to drive 30 minutes because we heard how great this place is...dont waste your time. We spilled drinks, which usually doesn't happen but if we didn't want to sit with coffee on our laps, chair, table, plates, I had to clean it myself. When I was wiping up the floor, the napkin didn't come up brown from coffee, the floor was disgustingly dirty. Not family friendly. Great for "an old guy" hand out. Very quiet. Coffee cold. Eggs mushy. Hash browns weird texture. The only reason I Gove this place 2 starts instead of 1 is because my family said the donut and cinnamon roll was really good. I can't fail to mention, they do not accept debit card so I was forced to use a debit machine that charged 3 extra dollars and now my bank has charged me a fee for not using "their" ATM. Needless to say, half of the check was spent of ATM fees and...

I was disappointed. I ordered the Special. It was discribed as a 6 oz. New York Strip. It was like a minute steak. Supposedly it was on special for $7.75 however when I got my check it was $9.25 reason being the waitress said I ordered off menu because I wanted a baked potato instead of a sweet potato. I felt like I was dupped. I wasn't charged extra for the baked potato the steak cost more. When I ask nicely about the situation they gave me a lame explanation which seemed like they didn't really seem to care. I guess they thought I was visiting the prision down the road. The baked potato was also dry and...
