I have never had a poor experience at a Dunkin like the one I just had at this Dunkin Donuts on Carbon St, in Reading, PA. I was there today, in the drive thru, from approximately 0640-0652 hrs. The lady who spoke through the speaker was rude in greeting people, and gave me attitude while I ordered. After each item I ordered, the same lady rudely rushed me to the front before even asking if my order was complete. As I proceeded to the first window to pay for my order, the lady who I communicated with (the one with long loose braided red hair and yellow crocs) was stuck to her phone while speaking with customers through the speaker system. This explained why the line was long. After she finished speaking with the next customers, I was still awaiting to pay for my order, as she continued to be on her phone. Some time passed, and I finally got to pay. I was told to pull to the front for the rest of my order. I just decided to go in the store and wait so that I did not have to wait longer than I already had. The other two employees that were there were nice, and the one even corrected my 2 coffees that I had ordered “light and sweet” because when she checked them they were made dark…The only problem today was the first employee I communicated with (described above). That lady did not set my morning off right.

Read moreI never do these but I felt like I had to. I arrived at the drive thru 3 cars were in n front of me. After about 5 minutes of waiting I’m still in the same spot. I look up and the car that’s at the speaker has his reverse lights on. We all back up he pulls out. We all line back up the car that’s now at the speakers says something to speaker waits about a minute and he puts his reverse lights on. At this point I’m thinking it’s probably a cash only or card only issue. So again we all back up at this point I have 2 cars behind me. Once again we all line back up. The car car in front of me which is now at the speakers and I see the driver yelling something at the speaker so I put my window down. I didn’t hear anything because he puts his reverse lights on as well (I know right ) same thing happens again but now I’m at the speaker. So I say hello to which I hear “don’t say hello wait we are busy” I look around like no this girl didn’t just say that. I make eye contact with the car behind me she says oh hell no and Paul’s out so I quick back up and get out of there. Read moreI had a terrible experience at this Dunkin' location—twice. Both the in-store and drive-thru service were disappointing. The employees seemed unfamiliar with the basics, and my orders were messed up. I’m a big fan of Dunkin' coffee, but this visit ruined my day.
The first time, I ordered a hot signature latte but received an Americano instead. Since I was in the drive-thru and in a hurry, I couldn’t go back to fix the mistake. To make things worse, the hashbrowns I got were old, overly salty, and barely edible. Later, I returned to explain the issues, but the staff didn’t care at all. They ignored me and showed no interest in resolving the problem.
The lack of attention and poor service made my experience frustrating. I expect better from Dunkin', especially since I enjoy their coffee and snacks.
