You use to give this place a 5 star all the way. After what happen tonight not anymore. It was almost like I was a inconvenience I was there. Hudband and I were meeting up to have dinner and treat ourselves. Well he beat there because I was just getting off work after 12 hr shift. He has odered me a drink. And he ordered appetizers. Well by the time I get there. The drink he order was completely wrong and when she brought the next one, she gave me a smaller size I really just gave in and just said that will do. (Mind you the drink was soupy it had already been sitting) The girl acted like she didn't want to wait on us and I could barely hear her cuz she would whisper everything. So we got passed the drink part but she never brought us more chips and salsa so I asked again to get it to the table and we finally ordered at that point because I didn't know how long tell she came back. 30 mins later... Food came out. (Maybe if she was flirting with the other waiter the whole time then she could have done her job right.) So we finally get done eating and she come about around twice to see if we wanted anything but never bother to take the dirty plates but she might have wanted to get back to flirting or looking at her phone and bs'ing to do nothing. She never stated the name nor was it in the check. All and all food ok but not for the pricing they are hitting you for any more. It was 50 for two adults and 1 kid. The kid was 5.00 and she got half a small tortilla and cheese. No side. I use to go here a lot but this place has changed. And probably won't go back. ( the place had a total 6 other people. Came blame it was busy. Highly disappointed. I would go somewhere else but y'all can be a...

If you're looking for a restaurant that will transport you to a Mexican dining experience, look no further than Amayas Bar and Grill. From the moment you step inside, you'll be greeted with vibrant decor, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The restaurant truly has a Mexican restaurant feel about it, and it's clear that every detail has been carefully crafted to provide an immersive dining experience.

But of course, the real star of the show at Amayas Bar and Grill is the food. I recently had the pleasure of trying their grilled chicken sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken was perfectly cooked and juicy, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. But what really stood out to me was the attention to detail in the presentation of the sandwich. It was clear that the chef takes great pride in their work, and that care and attention to detail extended to every dish that I saw coming out of the kitchen.

In addition to the amazing food, the service at Amayas Bar and Grill was also top-notch. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, and they truly enhanced the overall dining experience.

Overall, I would highly recommend Amayas Bar and Grill to anyone looking for a fantastic Mexican restaurant experience. The restaurant offers delicious food, a welcoming atmosphere, and attentive service, all of which combine to make for an unforgettable dining experience. I can't wait to visit again and try more...

After a long day of work me and my friend wanted some Mexican food and drinks. She told me she had been here before years ago and it was okay. We walked in it was dead and dark but whatever we sat down and ordered our first margarita. I ordered a guiso plate and my friend ordered carne asada. As we waited on our food the waitress brought our drinks out on a towel because it was spilling everywhere...our food came it was not great the meat tasted old and dry but we ordered another margarita the waitress informed us she was actually leaving and the bartender was taking over we asked him if we could move to the bar since we could smoke he said no problem. We sat down and another waitress asked us if we just left "table 41" which we said yes we asked if it was okay she Replied that it was fine to then start whispering with the manager. The manager went behind the bar and made our drinks without putting any alcohol in it at all. She had a waiter bring it to our table and the bartender follwed with a check and set it on the table and walked off. $100 later and very unsatisfied with the service. Never felt so uncomfortable eating lunch and having a few drinks. Would never recommend this...

Me and my husband tried this place out and were very disappointed. I ordered the gueso de puerco and this is what I received 🤔 I told the waitress this isn’t what was on the picture. No potatoes and she didn’t seem not one bit concerned nor did she try to make it right. The picture of the meat in red pasty sauce is nothing compared to what I thought I was getting. My tortillas were even hard. Sadly we left very disappointed for it being a place we’d pass and finally tried and it wasn’t a good experience 😞 👎🏾

I went here looking for some authentic Tex Mex food and found just that. The service was great, the atmosphere was good for a small restaurant in a smaller town. The recommendation of the “spicy’ not spicy “ chicken was spot on, I ordered a side or tortillas to go with it and it was perfect. That top shelf margarita was hand down great! One of the best I’ve had and didn’t taste too sour or sweet. I only needed one. My son had the hamburger and fries and for a Mexican restaurant it wasn’t too bad at all.

Used to love to go here. Got a to go order today and ended up sick as a dog. When first biting into my food I realized it didn't taste right, upon further review as you can see, they do not cook their meat thoroughly at all, this is their puffy taco dinner very much with the beef not cooked all the way. We have gone here for years, but will no longer attend this place. I'm not sure what the reason is for getting lazy, but it is inexcusable and they've got one very sick and unhappy customer over it.
