I love their food on the days I can actually order it...meaning...when I go to order something I definitely have to go inside even though they have a drive thru because I need to look at the food before I order it. EXAMPLE: I went last Thursday and EVERYTHING was LOOKING PERFECT so I got my usual veggie platter: mac n cheese, yams, dressing, and greens....and, EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS...but, some days the mac n cheese is burnt and hard on top and dried out looking on the inside like it was yesterday, however, I was told it wasn't burnt but she could give me the square on the left side near the middle 🤔 because the other parts were, ok since she said not burnt, lets say it was tooooooo crunchy and the cheese was so dark it didn't look like any was on it 🤷 the dressing was in the same condition (parts tooooo dark but the middle was decent)...needless to say I didn't order anything because I don't like my food that dark and crunchy looking...but my friend ordered their yams (which always makes you want to smack your momma...unless its on a day they make them too watery) and she got the dressing (the part that wasn't too dark) and I have to say the yams were delicious and the dressing was tasty...however, I was disappointed because I truly had my mouth watered for my veggie platter but I couldn't get it because you get 4 items but only 2 of my favs looked appealing...nothing like last Thursday..but it's truly hit or miss which is sad because the prices are steady going up especially al a carte items..I feel when they take food out the ovens and they're too DARK and CRUNCHY than they should be...they should scrap it or take it home to their families..not serve it to the public..now I get that everybody has their own preferences but if the customer says they don't prefer it in that condition and you have more prepared that's not burnt..you should give it to them instead of saying you can't serve from another tray until that was is gone...what if it doesn't go 🤷 and that's why they continue to get bad reviews...and why I never order on-line on in the...
Read moreI placed an online order an hour before arriving to the drive thru for pick up. I sat in the drive thru line for 30 minutes all to be informed that my order had not been made and that I would need to pull around. I did just that, even gave the cashier an additional 10 minutes out of the line, all for my order to still not be ready.
Once it was, the cashier tried to hand me a bag with a very large puddle of sweet potato liquid in the bottom. A single puncture and I would've had a mess all over my car therefore, I politely asked for it to be re-baged. Afterwhich, I finally received my order and it's now missing a side. I then had to wait an additional 15+ minutes just to get someone's attention, even though I politely tapped the horn and at least 3 people walked right past the drive thru window. It looked like the same person twice.
It was clear I was being ignored. It was also clear that my very presence was a bother to the staff. When she finally returned to the window, about 10 minutes or more later; I told the cashier that I was missing a side. She dialed some of the attitude back because she was again, wrong. However, she never apologized. In fact, she never even apologized for not having my order ready an hour and 40+ minutes after it was placed online.
What is the point of placing an online order if customers still have to wait an extended amount time once there? I was incredibly vexed, but don't believe in giving the people handling my food, a hard time. Because of that, my calmness, patience and understanding was tried to capacity and was being abused. I also want to mention, that it's very rude to have your customers sit in a line without acknowledgement. Overall, the staff was very rude and for those reasons, I won't be back. Read moreI will never be coming back to this location and if you're going to purchase some food here do not order it online. Friday I put in an online order for 2 meatloaf macaroni and corn. After putting in an online order went up to the location 20 minutes later when I get there they have to find my receipt and once they found it they had a dumb look on their face. She then took my receipt to the back I guess to show her manager then 2 minutes later come back out and say oh we have no meatloaf do you want anything else I said no I put in meatloaf for my online order and if you guys didn't have the meatloaf by you taking my number down you should have called me and told me of course that wouldn't have matter because they lost my receipt at first. the girl remains having a dumb lazy look on her face. Then proceeds to tell me oh well we can't give you your money back in cash you have to wait till it comes back on your card which that absolutely pissed me off. Why should I have to wait 4 to 6 days for my money for yall mess up when you all could have easily gave me my money back. These people don't mine inconveniencing people yet these cashiers always screaming that they need a raise but can't do simple stuff.
