Menu Info Reviews More like this In.gredients at Microsoft Redmond (located on first floor of cafe 34) offers a changing menu every 5-6 weeks, giving a variety of tasty options. You can enjoy a three-course meal for just $17-$20, which is a great deal. The staff is friendly and knows their stuff, and the place is nice for both special occasions and casual dining. The modern design and comfy seating make it a good spot for Microsoft employees and their guests. They use local and seasonal ingredients, and they're accommodating if you have dietary restrictions or allergies. A delightful place to eat - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED We chose the vegetarian options in the menu. They started our 3 course meal with a delightful bowl of French Onion Soup. This classic dish, sometimes a hit or miss, was undoubtedly a hit here. The robust broth, perfectly caramelized onions, and the layer of melted cheese on top created a rich and satisfying experience. Following this savory delight, I ventured into the Veg Eggplant Parmigiano. The layers of impeccably cooked eggplant, luscious tomato sauce, and the gooey cheese amalgamated into a harmonious blend of flavors. The chef's dedication to quality ingredients was evident in every bite, showcasing the thoughtfulness and freshness invested in this dish. They served us Panna Cotta and a sweet crepe for dessert which was perfect conclusion to our meal at Inoredients Coffee The smonth and...
Read moreVisited it again, a year after. My rating stays the same. The food was not 5*. Tuna - recommended by the chef medium-rare, was overly dried, not sure it should be served like that at all. Both opening courses were very spicy. Savory zucchini bread had some weird spice that made it taste like it went bad...
Visited the chef's restaurant at the Microsoft campus today. While I wasn't blown away, it's great to have a chef's restaurant at an affordable price. The portions match the prices—don't expect to leave stuffed, but you won't leave hungry either. If I had to pay a full price for a full size dish - I would rate the food not higher that a 3.
Most dishes had a pretentious touch, but none were outstanding. We enjoyed the key lime pie, though it was a tad too sweet. The chicken masala was a bit dry, and the savory brie dessert was underwhelming, served straight from the fridge instead of softened as it should be.
The rockfish was interesting but not memorable. The mango salad and crostini were fine, but nothing extraordinary. Overall, the best part is the price and the opportunity to dine at a chef's restaurant without...
Read moreFirst time at this restaurant. 3 course meal for $17 but it changes every 5 weeks (I believe). My wife got the ginger Thai chicken bites, salmon, and the strawberry rhubarb while I got the black bean soup, shrimp and sausage spaghetti, and a savory desert which was lentils and potatoes (or "finish" as they call it). The appetizers were decent, the chicken bites were way better than the soup. Salmon entree was sadly a tough and overcooked, and did not have enough flavor, where the spaghetti dish was decent. The sweet finish was tasty and very sugary, where the savory had a nice flavor. Portions are small, of course, but for the price and taste of the food my wife and I thought it would be better, especially...
