Golden China — Restaurant in Reidsville

This place used to be great. First i order on phone n go to get 20 min later. Im told tge person tht took my order thought i hung up n didn't want after saying hello 5x. So i reorder n im told they cant cook the broccoli extra soft for some reason. Every chinese food place ive ever been to cooks how u want it. Anyway i wait an additional 20 min. Get my order n go home. They got my order wrong. So we go bk n get whts owed. Now everything is cold. Completely ruined date night for my wife and I. Last time i said extra soft i have no teeth they sent extra sauce. I had to recook everything just to be able to eat. This place used to be great. When we moved to another town we hated that we had to get chinese somewhere else now im not impressed at all n im thinking the other place was much better. Very disappointing,,............first of all I asked for beef n broccoli to be extra soft you said soft as possible. I couldn't eat it. It was barely cooked at all. I was on the phone open line call still going on saying hello 5x n there was no response from your end. I didnt call 5x it was same call like i was talking n nobody on your end was responding i could hear everything in background on your end i didnt hang up. I said shrimp rolls. You said shrimp rolls i said yes. Nobody said spring rolls. No confusion. Also nobody suggested i order something else other than beef n broccoli. So based on my embarrassment, your ignorance, and lies i wont be back. Ive even purchased jewelry from you as well as food. I cant believe you talk to people this way n expect anyone to come back. Google customer service cause...

*UPDATE 12/25/2023 - Yep, we're still BIGTIME HAPPY with Golden China. They've been our go-to for all things Chinese TAKEOUT and... it wouldn't be Christmas without dinner from Golden China!

*ORIGINAL POST 07/2018 - WE FOUND IT! We recently moved to the area and have been making the rounds staking our claims to our new favorite go-to places, and Golden China NAILED IT for Chinese! General Tso's chicken was SUPERIOR, the steamed dumplings and Hoisin sauce were just as good, and the Crab Rangoons were STUFFED full of their goodness. The price was right for the quality and quantity of all. We could have easily stuffed ourselves into the 'it tastes so good I can't stop' comas, but saved the leftovers for next day lunch. Do yourself a favor and EAT AT THIS PLACE! Oh Yeah...Delivery was crazy fast for a Friday...

I have to say the best in Reidsville. I'm from Brooklyn, NY. I have tried all Chinese restaurants in reidsville, some in burlington and greensboro, and none matches up to what i am use to. This one is the best. The rice is just like up north not that brown plain rice you find in some restaurants around here. Now if you grow up down south eating Chinese you wouldn't understand what I'm talking about. But any one from up north that lives in or around reidsville, this one will not disappoint. I also thought I had a complaint about this restaurant when I ordered fried wonton. When I got home it had no meat. It was fried, cream cheese won tons. My first time trying them. They were very good. My kids loved them. So for this mistake we found a different appetizer that we enjoy. Thank you. Thid is my go to...
