I visited Fiamata for the first time last night and the experience was outstanding. Parking is a little bit of an adventure, but very easy to navigate and well worth the visit. The space is much larger inside than it appears from the road or lot, and the decor and atmosphere was warm and cozy, though packed with patrons, it was a bit loud. But again, nothing to deter you from heading out for a great meal! Our hostess was very polite and accommodating, simply asking for a preference before seating is right away - no pressures or feeling like whatever we would choose would be "difficult" to offer. The place was packed, but there seemed to be plenty of seating, even during their peak hours. We were immediately greeted by our server, Ben, who was a great host - professional and cordial with easy to understand dialog and conversation. He answered all of my questions for preparation and serving and we were extremely happy with his service throughout the night. I got the Chicken Rockefeller with the Aracini appetizer arriving with the meal while my partner got a range of items as well, including a drink. The dishes were outstanding with an emphasis on the quality of preparation; plating and timing of the cook were right on and offered another level of quality to the meal. Their menu includes easy to understand information and includes "popular/favorites/house specialties" symbols to help guests decide on their meal. I chose items that were not icons and felt the quality was just as good as anything else on the menu. The pasta was perfectly al dente (though I do like a slightly thicker fettuccine noodle), and my chicken was right on target as well. Desserts were good, but may not be the reason to head to the restaurant. The risotto on the other hand - yes, go there for the risotto!! The Aracini was outstanding and I'm looking forward to the leftovers today! Overall, it was a fantastic visit and we will absolutely be headed back to Fiamata when...

We were excited to try Fiamata for the first time and unfortunately we left underwhelmed. Making reservations was easy with a simple phone call. When we arrived parking was an issue bc there weren’t any spots so we created our own. It was a Friday night so it was busy. We arrived, were greeted right away, and sat in our booth.

The booth was super tight and not comfortable at all. We quickly realized it was going to be tough to have a conversation because it was so loud. It also became very hot very quickly.

It took a while for our waitress to arrive. Drink orders were placed and took a while to arrive. The bread and dipping sauce was very good. We ordered the bruschetta and calamari to share for the table and both were great. The environment kept getting louder and hotter.

When our food finally arrived it was just ok. I had the Scallop Venetzia which had little flavor and the risotto was bland. I would have used salt and pepper if it was on the table. My wife enjoyed her shrimp pesto pasta dish. Our friends said their filet and crab cake meals were just ok.

The service was poor. It was Friday night and very busy but it took way too long to order, and for the drinks and food to arrive.

The prices were fine but I’m not sure we will ever go back. Get some air moving in there so it’s more comfortable temperature wise. The experience...

I want to take a moment to recognize the outstanding staff and management at Fiamata — they are the reason we will continue coming back. Of course, the exceptional food is another major draw.

Our first visit, unfortunately, didn’t go as smoothly as we had hoped. Although we were seated promptly with a reservation, there was a significant delay between ordering and receiving our meals. After about 45 minutes, we had only received our appetizer, and with time running short, we ultimately had to request our meals be packed to go. Sadly, when we got home, part of the order was incorrect and something was missing. It was especially disappointing, as we were using a birthday gift card from my mom, and we’d been looking forward to the experience.

We reached out to Fiamata to share what had happened, and they responded with grace and generosity. They invited us back to make things right — and they truly did. Not only did they provide us with a gift card to cover the original amount, but they went above and beyond by adding extra as a gesture of goodwill.

Our second visit was flawless. The service, food, and overall experience were outstanding. We felt genuinely valued as customers. Thank you, Fiamata, for standing behind your commitment to hospitality and for turning a disappointing first impression into a reason we can’t...

Not a 5 Star Experience, but not a 4 either.. Let's say 4.25 Welcome addition to the area, much different vibe than its predecessor. The ambiance is nice if not a tad stark and just about everything has been updated. Bar area looks comfortable and the entire space is loaded with TV's so if you are there for some sort of sporting event it would work great. The acoustics are somewhat louder due to plenty of hard finishes throughout the space. My swordfish/pasta special was some of the best swordfish i had ever eaten. Fish was cooked perfectly as was the pasta and the sauce was seasoned to perfection. Other dishes were also very good but did not raise to the high praise of the special. Salads were cheerfully split and there was welcoming bread placed on the table as we were seated. We were not consuming alcohol on this evening but the cocktail list looked welcoming and inspiring. Ben, our server was friendly and mostly efficient - he was there with water when we needed it and timing was good although did have to chase him down to pick up our checks after we placed our cards - and we waited more than a reasonable amount of time for him to return. We were with friends from the neighborhood that we like to locally dine with and all agreed that we would be happy to return!
