I wanted to come back in and edit my review from when I visited again for takeout on Dec 31, 2021. I picked up some tacos again, it only took 10 minutes to get the food after I placed my order. However, the food didn't seem quite the nice quality from my prior experience. They were a little dry and hard to get down but I was so hungry! It ended up being a good meal and I was happy. However, NONE of the employees were wearing a mask and this was during times of high transmission. Please be SAFE and ALL employees need to wear a mask, especially when working around food! This restaurant also needs to work on keeping a cleaner environment. Sorry, but I won't be back soon. Changed my rating to a 3/5 stars.
Here's my review from 10 months prior: Got takeout from here and it was very good! I got 3 tacos to go and a soda which cost just over $15. The tacos I got were Lamb, Beef Head and Chorizo sausage. The meat was all seasoned and cooked nicely with lots of cilantro. It came with a couple spicy sauces and limes. I'm not sure what the sauces were (one green, one red), but they were quite tasty. The green sauce was almost bubbly as if it was a fermented sauce. If you're sensitive to heat just test the sauces first before loading them on. By the end of the meal my sinuses were cleared! Tacos came with what tasted to be homemade soft corn tortillas. My only one complaint was that I wish the meat was drained better of the grease because all of the tacos were sopping with grease. The beef head meat had too much fat in it for my liking but maybe some people dig that. This place is just a little hole in the wall and not many tables to eat at, so your best (and safest) bet would be to take food to go. Ordering was a quick process I was only there for about 10 minutes. It was a little pricey but I was pleased to find a local spicy treat! There is an old Mortal Kombat arcade and a Claw machine as well as a TV. I noticed they had a small section with bakery items and desserts. Next time I go I'll be sure to edit my review with a photo of the food, I was too hungry...
Read moreThis small restaurant located on the main road is easy to miss. It's small and was very busy when we arrived. There is a takeout counter with a few chairs at the front to sit in while you wait for your order and a few tables and chairs in the back. Eat in or take out-either one is a good option.
The food was freshly prepared to order. I had a chicken taco which was a bit dry and didn't have much seasoning on it, I like mine super seasoned. The sauce that came with it was really good and had a perfect balance of cilantro, salt, and lime. It was a good size taco for the price of $4.95
My companion had the carné asada which had a good assortment of meats, beans, cactus pads, a hot pepper, rice, and cheese. It was mildly seasoned and cooked nicely. It was a large portion for the price of $14.99.
I would go again, but I would request extra...
Read morereally came across some delicious Mexican food during my travels! wanted a quick bite and Taqueria El Guacamole popped up on my map. menu looks extensive w all the traditional dishes. can't go wrong w any choices but I got the al pastor tacos & supreme burrito.
the al pastor tacos were delicious! pieces of pineapples added an additional bold flavor to an already flavorful marinated pork. salsa verde & rojo were on point! rojo had a nice kick, too!
the burrito came w seasoned, scrumptious fries! polished those off before even getting home. the burrito was huge and stuffed! will definitely be getting it again!
