Went to Taco Bell with myself and 3 kids, and husband. Pulled up to the drive thru to start ordering and pretty sure I had the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life. It’s been about a week and I’ve debated putting this review up but I just can’t bc someone needs to know about this little girl. Anyway, I have to look at the menu to choose what we want bc we almost never go to Taco Bell. I take too long I guess and within 15 seconds she asks “are you ready to order” and “do you know what you want” after both times I asked her to give me just one second.. I start ordering my food and she is already saying “is that all” in a rude way to cut me off every bit of order I placed, I wasn’t done.. then, I order a combo box (chalupa something) . It comes with a drink. She didn’t ask what I wanted to drink, which is fine, so I said “I’ll have a Baja blast with that” and she’s ringing me up separately and so I ask “did you not get the box” I kid you not she was ringing me up for the items in the box individually (cost more that way also!) anyway, she replies with “YOU DIDNT SAY YOU WANTED THE BOX” in the rudest way she could although I remember my exact words were “can I get that chalupa box”- I look at my husband because I’m not sure I believe what just happened but he says for me to just stay calm bc our kids wanted their food. So instead of saying “no I said xxx” I say “I’m sorry no I want the box” trying to deescalate whatever she’s going through or might be dealing with.. then she literally says “WELL YOU NEED TO SPEAK UP CAUSE I CANT HEAR YOU” - at this moment I was about to tell her to cancel the entire $50 order that I’m sure they had already started making because absolutely not. If I was by myself things would’ve went very differently. But I had my kids with me and my husband continuously reminded me to just get our food without saying anything to her so they don’t do something to our food, or cause a scene in front of the kids.. So again, I stayed calm and just kept a smile on my face. This was a blue haired girl on night shift. We got our food and it wasn’t that bad.. HOWEVER. My friend was behind me in her car and by the time she got up to the window she said the blue haired girl must’ve done switched places with whoever was making food bc another girl was at the window being extremely nice.. my friend gets her food and calls me back and says there is sour cream, cheese etc just all over the wrappers of everything. And that the lady at the window was nice but their food was barely edible as if it needed to just be mushed up in a bowl like taco salad bc of how messy it was. So I assume the lady making the food come to the window bc ole blue haired girl was having a bad day and she was put on food orders and continued to have her bad day there. I have been a manager in the past for several years at the Wendy’s at the truck stop (not anymore) but if I was the manager, she would’ve absolutely been fired right then. Whoever’s in charge needs to know how the people are running their stores and how they act. It is not that hard to just smile and use your fake customer service voice. Don’t let the bathroom clean up boy catch you reading the Health Department Report! It must be posted in a manner to which any patron can read the report. It was placed behind the counter but in an open area to the right where no counter space prevented access. It was not near any condiments, paper goods, cash register. But I tried to stay behind the counter line the best I could as took a small step in and leaned in to start reading a man’s voice said “you are not permitted back here”. “I’m just reading the damn health department report”. And he smarted off and I smarted off back at him and he threatened me to leave the premises and ran his mouth at me until I got inside my car and left. I’m thankful he was not speaking like that to one of my loved ones or I would’ve been beaten down or put in jail for murder. Absolutely no right to speak to me the way he did. The customer is always right and although I said the word damn when I said I was reading the damn health dept report he escalated the incident when he followed me out into the dining area mouthing off at me and yes I was mouthing back but it never should’ve been pushed that far by him in front of the other patrons. I’m sick of this store trying to be gangsters. I really like my Taco Bell and pass by to authentic Mexican food businesses to get to this one and maybe I won’t keep passing them by.
Well today I ordered drive thru and I must say that the drive thru lady who took my order was the most friendly upbeat employee I’ve ever met at Taco Bell and she made me feel like nothing could go wrong and finally everything was on point. Read moreI have eaten at this Taco Bell location 3 times so far and 2 of them have been great experiences. I stopped in the day that they opened and they did a fantastic job, I was in and out of the drive thru in a very timely manner and my order was correct and well made. The next time wasn't a super great experience like the first. They were pretty packed, which is understandable because it was a weekday right as everyone gets off of work. I arrived at the speaker and placed my order. The girl taking my order was friendly and got everything correct on the screen and when she read it back to me, so everything was going well. I grabbed my food and got out of the parking lot because I didn't want to back up the line more than it already was. I arrived home shortly after and saw that they had gotten everything wrong...There was no extra meat and sauce as I had requested, a couple of items were missing, my drink was only half full and there was lettuce and tomatoes on everything, which i'm not a fan of. I was a little bummed but decided to give them a quick call before I ate anything and let them know that my whole order was wrong. The manager on the phone was incredibly nice and told us to ask for her the next time we came in and she would correct our order for us, no charge. We took her up on that offer and went inside, asked for her and she made sure we got a perfect order.
