I want to be clear I did use AI to help sound more professional but today's visit and many before have not been okay. Get it together and be my favorite place to eat again. Or give the bisiness to someone who will run it
The purpose of this letter is to detail concerns regarding recent experiences at your restaurant. The restaurant has been frequented for a considerable time and was once held in high regard. However, recent visits have been disappointing, leading to the decision to no longer dine there. The most recent visit, on July 29, 2025, presented significant issues. Two plates were ordered, and neither could be consumed due to the substandard quality of the food. Subsequently, vomiting occurred in the parking lot. This severe reaction strongly suggests problems with the food's freshness or preparation. This follows a pattern of declining quality over the last 5-6 visits. The sweet and sour sauce tasted unusual, resembling chocolate in one instance. This raised concerns about dishwashing practices and possible cross-contamination. In addition, multiple hygiene and safety issues were observed. Insects were present and bothersome on several occasions, which detracted from the dining experience. Some doors within the establishment were blocked, potentially creating a serious safety hazard, especially in emergencies. As a long-standing and previously satisfied customer who has consistently tipped generously, these issues are deeply disappointing. The decline in food quality, along with the hygiene and safety concerns, does not meet the standards once associated with the restaurant. It is hoped that these serious concerns will be considered and thoroughly investigated to prevent similar occurrences for other diners. The suspected foodborne illness was also reported to the Wisconsin Department of...
Read moreUPDATE: I have food poisoning. Lovely.
I've been going here for 10+ years, and I've watched it go so downhill. The egg drop soup is so watered down, it tastes like hot water with egg remnants. The girl at the counter, whom I think is the owner's daughter, didn't say a word to me. I went to pay, and she didn't even look up from her phone, nor did she even say a word while I paid. In fact, while taking my card from me, she was still staring at her phone and typing a text message! The owner is always angry, and never says "thank you", or "have a great day". The service is just... awful, and has gotten worse through the years, especially since they moved to the "new" building. In addition, they boosted the prices for takeout to $8.25 per pound, from their $5 and some cents a year and a half ago. The food is NOT worth the jump in price, AT ALL. I'm angry, because this used to be a great place to go. Many of my friends and I used to go there weekly, and now we have all decided we are never going again. It's a shame, but I'll pay more for decent food, and service, not watered down soup and cheap food. Go to Peking Restaurant, they have both good food, and good service. I will never, ever go here again, and I know many others who aren't either. They are going to lose a lot of money, but they haven't done anything to fix it. If they don't care,...
Read moreI've been coming here ever since I got a driver's license. But I ill give you a quick survival guide for this place.
Don't eat too much shrimp, the manager will get snippy.
Watch out for the manager, he bites.
Do Not, go during a slow time, I'd suggest 11:30 to 12:35 seems to be the best time, other wise the food is stale and cold.
Always ask for no Ice in your drink, you'll get a lot more, otherwise it's all ice and a little bit of liquid.
Dont be offended if the manager simply points at the register for your total, he knows his ABCs, but hasn't quite figured out numbers yet.
Yes, they are talking about you, just because you don't understand what their saying, doesn't mean it's not about you. It is, trust me.
There's one waiter that will flirt with anything that moves, so watch out.
Never try to reuse a plate, you will feel what it's like to be dropkicked by a ninja.
Don't go in the bath room, just don't.
Chew carefully, there's some weird hard stuff in the the beef.
With these tips, your stay at the oriental kitchen will be a breeze. I know I keep coming for...
