Man Made LLC--Man Made Pizza and Ice Cream — Restaurant in Rib Lake

I don't like to be negative, but there was little to praise. I ordered a taco salad. The meat was extremely burned it was more like greasy black sawdust. The tiny meatballs on my husband's meatball sandwich were so badly burned that there was no moisture at all left in the them. The sandwich was served on a hotdog bun, and the marinara was no better than a can of pizza sauce from the local gas station. The service was extremely slow. We also ordered a small pizza to go, and it took nearly an hour. We were going to cancel the order, which caused great confusion for the clerk at the counter. He was trying to provide us a refund, and while counting out the cash, he was at $19 for a $7.25 pizza. Luckily, the small pizza had been boxed already and brought to the counter by another employee who noticed the clerk's frustration. This saved them a loss due to nearly refunding the incorrect amount of the pizza.

The restaurant is under new ownership. I hope they can get their performance up to par quickly. I would like to see them do well in the community once again. I'm hoping they iron out the issues. Maybe this was just a case of being "new"? I hope they gain more skill and confidence with each work day.

First time here. If not for GPS and my head spinning around, and around I would have not found it. I didn't see a sign just one that said open. Nothing that said man made. It was a Tuesday. 3 other people in the place. I got a pizza and a shake. Shake was good. Pizza well... I ordered 12 inch extra cheese, extra sausage, extra Canadian bacon. Togo. It's was cooked fast enough. But once I got home a hour later and seen that my pizza was a little slim. If I got all that extra extra extra, apparently they forgot cause I don't think it had enough meat on it for a regular pizza. Was disappointing. The staff didn't seem to know what they were doing at all. I understand that with summer just starting and new younger employees. But really train them! Show them the ropes and when they need someone with the sense of knowing what's going on, help them don't just continue to talk with the old guy at counter. I've traveled the world and have eaten pizza in several countries, states and cities. To be honest, I cannot describe a pizza I like better than a few places in Chicago with deep dish pizza. Other than that, however, Mann Made is the place to be. I've been frequenting this place for many years. When I lived in Iowa I would call and place an order ahead of time to have pizza's made and frozen. Then, we would take 8-10 pizzas back with us to be cooked at a later time. There are so many great choices of pizza...I haven't found one I dislike. I've only eaten a sandwhich there once, but that too was good. They serve high quality ice cream which we often buy by the pint to take home and eat later. Truly a five...
