From Dumpster Fire to Drive-Thru Delight
Let’s just say, in the old building, this place was… an experience. And not the good kind. The kind where your fries are cold, your burger looks like it lost a fight, and the service makes you question all your life choices — starting with stopping here in the first place.
Honestly, it used to feel like they were running a social experiment: “How bad can we make it before customers stop coming?” Spoiler alert: I stopped coming.
But then — plot twist — they tore the old place down and built a shiny new building. I swung by out of sheer curiosity (okay, and hunger), and I’m still trying to process what happened. Because this was not the same sad drive-thru of yesteryear.
The new space is clean, modern, and doesn’t feel like a grease trap from 1998. My order was correct (gasp), came out hot (double gasp), and actually tasted good (faints). Even the soda machine works like it’s supposed to. I didn’t even have to ask for napkins — they just gave them to me. Luxury.
And the staff? Friendly, efficient, and not dead behind the eyes. One even smiled at me. Smiled. I almost drove off thinking I’d gone to the wrong place.

On 06-22-2019 @ 1:00 pm after about 15 minutes trying to order a $3 Double Whopper (mobile order only) and the app refusing to complete the order and bringing it to managements attention. Kathrine (?) did nothing but say the app is run by a separate company (not affiliated with BK) and she could not do anything... Really... Like you can't make the customer happy who just now spent 20+ minutes trying to complete an order with the very same app you advertise all over ??? MAKE THE CUSTOMER HAPPY - ESPECIALLY WHEN THE PROBLEM IS YOURS. I was not trying to get something for nothing I only wanted what was offered on their app which was not completing it right. I've used the app many times for the same offer at many locations without a problem. I was able to order another offer off the app which worked fine, but I got a refund on it after the CUSTOMER-NO-SERVICE response and total lack of care or concern from this unprofessional so-called manager. Read moreMy friend and I decided to go to Burger King for the first time after the renovation. The playground looked very cool. So we were intrigued. We go inside and get our food. I got the Wednesday Walker which was nasty but I also got the fries and they were actually very good. But overall my experience was not so great after I experience the playground. We mostly.
