I had checked the reviews before coming here and seen a lot of positive feedback but the experience still turned out being a lot better then I had expected. It’s not a really big place but still can fit a good amount of people and we did not have to wait at all. The food was AMAZING as well as the service. Lynn did a great job in making sure we had all we needed and we never had to ask for a refill on anything. I’d for sure go back if I ever am back in the area.

This was our first time in the restaurant. Small cozy place. Great home cooked food. Great staff Interactions. Friendly and peaceful dining. I had the gyro lamb meat. Daughter 1 had cowboy burger. Daughter 2 had a breaded chicken salad. Husband had Philly cheese steak burger. We ordered 2 appetizers breaded mushrooms and cheese sticks. Some food is not pictured due to being hungry. 😃 Thank you to all staff and especially the cook keep up the great work!

First time there and i was impressed. Had the bluegill dinner and was so good...5 pieces of fish and bunch of fries and cottage cheese. Whole staff did great.

On 2 separate occasions, I stopped in to grab breakfast, on both visits, I left after never having my order taken..

Each time, I was told there were numerous customers in front of me, so I'd have to wait.

Most recently, I arrived seconds behind a large group of 8. They sat at a table. I sat at the counter. Keep in mind that I walked in right behind them, pretty much with them.

I sat at the counter and went to order and was told I'd have to wait since they arrived first.

No problem waiting when it's busy but on the first visit I sat there for 15 minutes and left never having my order taken, most recently after being told I'd have to wait yet again I just paid for my coffee and left.

Again, no issue waiting in a busy restaurant, but the server could have taken my order and I probably could have gotten my breakfast before the other server finished taking the large tables order.

Two stars since the...

First time in St Helen. Was looking for a homestyle/Mom and Pop type restaurant. Did not disappoint. Waitress was friendly, outgoing, knowledgeable and efficient. Don’t remember her name (very young brunette), with great manners and presentation. Had the poise and professionalism of someone twice her age. ALL of the staff had great interaction with customers, courteous and kind with outstanding customer service. They way they all worked together and even when there was a problem with a broaster, never saw them flustered. Phone manners were textbook perfect. Whom ever trains these young women need to be commended..I would use them all as an example/showcase of how customer service should be accomplished. Food was like home cooking. Do...

Don't you dare go here if your skin happens to be anything but white. We were treated HORRIBLY by the wait staff last Saturday (August 16th). One of my family members happens to be black, and two of the waitresses and even the cook acted like we had the plague! After 20 minutes of being ignored and having everyone else's table visited at least twice, I confronted them to see if they planned on waiting on us or not. The waitress was smarmy and nasty. Who knows what the cook did to our food. SHAME ON YOU, ST. HELEN! I would never have guessed that racism is alive and well in such a...
