Mother's day my husband and I took his Mom out for dinner and drinks at Fired Stone Tavern, not too busy so we were seated fairly quickly. Ordered burgers, they were wrong and cold so we sent them back, received corrected order and it was still cold, like they just replaced the buns, bacon and onion straws, so the waitress brought the manager over, Danica, she got extremely defensive about our burgers being cold and said she was the one that corrected it, after she argued with us she eventually took the burgers and they were remade, my MIL however didn't send her cold burger back she just ate it, while waiting for her coleslaw which she eventually she received after she was done eating and enjoying her dessert martini. We received our bill and the 4 margaritas we ordered were not the same price on our bill as they were on the menu so we asked why, Danica took the bill from my husband's hand and proceeded to yell to us that we have done nothing but give the waitress Ashley a hard time, definitely not the case, unless asking questions to a business you are receiving service from is a hard time! Ashley was a wonderful waitress the manager on the other hand needs to learn customer service skills. As she took our bill to yell at us like children I asked her nicely to please lower her voice and walk away so we could pay our bill and leave, she proceeded to tell me that she doesn't have to walk away and she will stand here and yell whatever she wants. We finally got out of there and to our truck where I began having a seizure from the stressful situation your manager put me in, she could have walked away but instead she decided to get hostile with us. I have never been treated so poorly at a restaurant. Definitely won't...

This place is hidden in the middle of nowhere and we just so happened to stumble across it because we noticed a digital billboard as we were leaving a different establishment (Jerseys) in disgust... Boy are we ever glad we hunted Fire Stone Tavern down! It's tucked away in a golf course that is easy to miss at nite if you're not looking closely. Once you find the place, even the entrance is kinda unique... almost like a fun house as you make your way down the steps, then have to scan the several hallways before seeing the large hand painted sign that guides you in the correct direction. Once we reached the hostess station, we were immediately seated and I was impressed with the overall atmosphere. Lots of TVs showing different college football games, and they were kind enough to put one of them on a game I was wanting to see. Then the food... The nachos were absolutely amazing! My girlfriend doesn't normally like spicy foods, but the chicken in them was packed with so much flavor, she loved them. In fact, she said "those had to be the BEST nachos I ever had." We also got the boneless Buffalo wings with the sweet bourbon sauce. Perhaps I set my expectations a little too high, because they were somewhat of a disappointment. They were cooked well, had a nice 'crunch' as I bit into them, but they just seemed to be lacking adequate flavor. Maybe they just needed a litter more sauce? After that, I got the Stallion sandwich and she got the Mac-Nificent. Both were very unique and quite a treat!! And to top it all off, their pricing seemed very reasonable! If I'm ever traveling thru the area again, I will...

First, let me say I understand staffing is an issue post COVID, but communication is key to patrons to explain long wait times, etc. I took my husband out for Father’s Day with our kids. We arrived shortly after 6 and waited about 20 minutes for a table, no problem. We were seated, ordered some smoked wings and some drinks, all was well. Then ordered our food. We waited, and waited, no refills on drinks, no I’m so sorry, your food is coming, or the kitchen is running behind. I had to go to the bar to order another beer. My son wanted another side of ranch for his wings, couldn’t ask because our waitress was nowhere to be found. Our food finally came out and our pizza was burnt, black pepperoni and burnt crust. I told the person who delivered it that it was burnt, he said oh I can get you another one. Would that one take 45 minutes too? Our waitress finally appeared with my beer refill and I told her our pizza was burnt. She told me another table had send all of their pizzas back because they were all burned. That would have been nice to know so we wouldn’t have been so upset about our food taking forever, there was zero apology for that. She said she’d talk to her manager about doing something for the pizza. The solution was 2 $5 coupons for our next visit, we won’t be back. We gave them to the table next to us, I’m sure they waited as long for their food. Horrible service, mediocre food, not worth the...

Come to the basement, you will not be disappointed! This place was a surprise at every turn. Pulling into the parking lot of a golf course and I thought we had made a wrong turn. You walk into the main building is a baby grand piano inside the door and worry you might be underdressed. There are two restaurants in this building, one upstairs and the Fired Stone Tavern below. With decorated walls though out, the vibe was not what I was expecting from the outside of the building. This laid back family friendly tavern was perfect, service was quick, food was great and prices were reasonable. Based on our servers suggestion I tried the Roadhouse burger, it was prepared great and had large chunks of delicious brisket on top. Others in our group had the pizza sub and enjoyed that as well.
