The Richland Pub — Restaurant in Richland Township

Tonight was about the fifth time that I have stopped in for dinner. The first visits we're fine... food okay. After my last two trips...I'm done. One a few weeks ago with my husband and tonight with my daughter and her three children. Both times we were ignored by the staff passing by our table. We waited for a server about twenty minutes each time. We sat and never received so much as a "Hello". This is not a large establishment and the pub was half full this trip with three waitress's and the bar tender. The time before was busier, but still not so busy that they couldn't acknowedge a customer. When your seated with children and two being toddlers, the staff should know enough to move things along. Children won't wait forever. Needless to say, we left after about a twenty minute wait sitting at our table with no menus. It was obvious that talking and hanging about was more important than we were. We won't be back and I'll be sure to let anyone who asks know my opinion. The next restaurant we went to after leaving Richland Pub was super. The wait staff great. Oh by the way.... we're both locals. Plainwell (lake doster)...

The Richland Pub is a true local gem and easily one of the best spots in the area for a relaxed, high-quality dining experience. This was our 1st time ever. Waitress was really rude when we ordered our food. When we got our food my wife had items on it that she asked to have off and the waitress actually took it off her self with her fingers and was rude to my wife about the situation. We actually had another waitress come help us several times as we didn't see ours only 3 times when we where there 1 to get drinks 2 bring drinks back and take order and 3 bring food. Had to get refills and condiment from other waitress oh and of course she brought the bill and asked if we needed change!!! The olive burger my wife ordered was uncooked dried and nothing on it but olive under a slice of cheese. Sorry we will never come back to this...
