Mi Cabrito — Restaurant in Richland

We love Mexican food and have had many types all over but I would suggest you just keep driving if your passing on through.

First off, we felt like we were an inconvenience to be served at every step of the way.

Food service was slow and came when we were the only ones in there, came about 30 minutes after we ordered. This wouldn't be bad if it was high quality when it came or if additional chips came without asking or maybe an apology for the wait. None of this came.

Our food was overcooked and unseasoned. We had Fajitas and it was overcooked. The enchilads lacked flavor and taco was nothing special. The highlight was the salsa and the tamale.

The server was short with us and didn't seem to like his job. They were busy setting up a catering it seemed in one of the rooms.

We were passing through and won't be back obviously but just wanted to share...

Be very detailed when you order.. Otherwise you will get chopped beef in your burrito instead of ground beef… They do not have beef tamales, so you will get chicken.. I don’t want chicken tamales.. Chips and Salsa were perfect… Salad was perfect, substituted for rice and beans.. Ask questions, food is good when you realize they are not like most Mexican dishes… In America anyway.. update 6-19-2025, I had to give it another notch up.. The food is pretty good.. fresh anyway.. delicious refried beans.. Order like you want it, they will normally get it right.. update again..What I’ve noticed is , they actually give you several napkins straight away.. Think about that for a while..You don’t even have to ask for more than the one wrapped up on your silverware.. lol.....

Queso and chips were good, server was friendly but didn't go above and beyond. Our lunch was absolutely disgusting. The bottom of the quesadilla was soggy; the whole dish was a lot wetter than you would expect a quesadilla to be. The cajun shrimp with the rice and refried beans looked extremely unappetizing and made my sister sick. It wasn't worth the price and we should have just gone to Taco Bell.
