Waffle House — Restaurant in Richland

The Female Manager is a Racist B ! Very Rude & Unprofessional. She had family or friends in there she was giving Free Food to & ignoring Paying Customers. She didn't want to be interrupted while she was visiting with her friends or family whomever they were to her. Our food was cold & nasty, the bacon was hard & overcooked, the grits were the nastiest grits I ever put in my mouth ! Thank God I'll never be in that area again cause I would never eat there again nor would I suggest anyone to eat there... My adopted Mother is Black & she was with us on our trip. She was extremely rude to my Mom & told her to move the baby's high chair back. 1st off all 3 of us are Disabled & do the best we can just to walk. If I would not have gotten into trouble with the law I would have Not Paid my bill & I would have made her eat that chair if I heard her. I had walked outside & walked back in, that's when I was told what was said at that time. Lucky I wasn't younger. I was extremely disappointed with the service and atmosphere of the restaurant. There was like 6 to 10 people in there early morning October 8 2022. I arrived around 1 am . The waitress took my order about 5 to 6 minutes later. I ordered my usual Double Texas Cheesesteak with Double Hashbrowns and a water. I told the waitress I was in no rush for food but i am thirsty. I received my cup of water 40 minutes later after asking 3x for it. The cook had a terrible attitude could hear him cussing under his breath the whole time I was there about the customer and how much he hated his job, continually using the f-word. The waitress seemed very overwhelmed and she was trying hard but the cook was burning food and cooking 1 order at a time from prep to finish absolutely no multi tasking. Needless to say I received my order about 78 minutes after I ordered it. It was alright but I've had way better cooked waffle house in the past. They were busy as I walked in, but I was still greeted by the waitress with “welcome to Waffle House, my name is Christy, will it be dine-in or carry out!” It gave the place a “hometown” vibe and I felt comfortable. I watched as they took orders and as the waitress passed, she took my drink order and had a fresh hot pot of coffee brewing. As busy as they were, customers were taken care of efficiently, without complaint. I ordered steak & eggs, med well steak, eggs over easy w/ hash browns and a glass of water. Everything was cooked to perfection! I would have taken pictures but it smelled so delicious! I enjoyed the meal. All of the staff working were courteous and friendly.
