I've ordered from this location a few times. It's just all right. Sometimes the pizza is good, other times it's either cold or something is wrong with it. The thing is though - customer service is seriously lacking. For example, last night I ordered a pizza, a side, and a dessert. My husband answered the door and collected out food when it arrived. When he came in the kitchen there were only 2 items, so I called Domino's.. They had forgotten my side. (My husband didn't know what I had ordered or he would have said something to the delivery driver initially, but he had just gotten home.)
When I called Domino's I explained that my side item had not been delivered. I was promptly placed on hold with out much of anything being said to me. As I waited my food was getting cold and I was really bothered when the same person picked the phone back up and asked how they could help me again.. I repeated to them that an item I had ordered was missing. It was as if because the item was under $5 it was no big deal and they didn't want to bring it out to me. But I had only ordered a medium pizza and was kind of depending on the side to fill out the rest of the meal. The gentleman on the phone offered a credit to my account first or they could (begrudgingly it sounded like) bring me my side. I requested the food be delivered considering we did order it so we clearly wanted it... The guy on the phone seemed completely bothered by me and said they'd send out more when they could. When the delivery arrived my husband retrieved our side item and informed me that the delivery driver actually made a comment to him implying that maybe we were lying about getting our side item. Just plain rude.
I completely understand that it is a hassle to bring out an item for delivery when a mistake is made. But we didn't make the error and to be made to feel so uncomfortable due to wanting the food we paid for just seems like ridiculously poor customer service in my opinion. I ended up eating cold pizza and because they rushed the side the dough was nearly raw in the center. Thanks for nothing...
Read moreI’ve always loved dominos, I placed an order tonight and got there just a minute or two before my order was done. It was a single pizza. I did curbside delivery which is what I have always done for years now. I notified the app that I was here, and I watched them inside as they worked as always while waiting for my food. I seen a single pizza was done so I assumed it was mine, waiting for the young girl to bring it, she ran outside and gave it to another customer in his car. I waited about 5 minutes or so until the same customer came back inside and brought the pizza in and gave it back to them. Obviously it wasn’t his. They placed the pizza on the top rack and didn’t look at it again. So I called them and asked if my pizza was ready because I’ve been waiting outside and no one had brought it to me and my order has been done for a few minutes now. and they checked around (mind you I was watching through their huge glass window) and they said they have it and will bring it out and I said if it was the pizza that was brought back and placed on the top shelf I don’t want it. And they said “ughhh okay let me see if it is and I’ll place you on hold” so I waited. And was left on hold. An employee said that the pizza was taken to another vehicle but the customer never touched it, they open the pizza box and show the pizza to make sure it’s correct before we hand it over. Per employee. And as I’ve said I’ve done this for years and never once has a employee done that, to me anyways…. I told them I didn’t want it, and I watched the gentleman bring my pizza in and watched them throw it on the top rack and no one came outside to figure out who the pizza belonged too. I worked as a server/bartender for 8 years and I explained it was shitty customer service. But I stayed and let them make another pizza. And paid for it… needless to say, better customer service is needed. No one is perfect, but do better. And don’t lie to a customer about their food not being handled by another customer when it...
Read morePlaced a delivery order at 5:22pm at 6:00pm I checked the app to see that our order was “completed”. However, there was no food at our door. We called to find out what had happened and were told “yeah we’ve completed your order in store, our driver just left to deliver it”. So we waited at 6:45 and with no way to track the food since they marked it as complete we called back to check on our delivery. Whoever answered the phone was rude tried to rush us off the phone, told us yeah your order is on the way never asked us our name, order number etc. Once again we waited at 7:40 we called for the last time and had to ask for a refund. We understand being busy but how they handle this delivery order was completely unprofessional. I guess if you want to wait 2+ hours for your food that may or may not show up order from them!
Update: Our neighbor from the other side of our community brought our order to us the next day that was left at their house. Dominos had no intention of actually delivering us our food/ fixing their mistake for the whole 2 & 1/2 hours we waited on their word that it was “out...
