McDonald's — Restaurant in Richlands

Let me start off with saying, I have given this McDonald’s many many chances to “redeem” my option on them. A couple months ago, my mother in law was parked where they told her to park to wait for her food. This worker came out and had a bag of trash in his hand; when he came around my mother in laws car he SLUNG nasty ?liquid? onto her car. I said something and asked if he could apologize. He rolled his eyes and walked away. I then went in to tell the manager and the manager was rude about it. He asked me “do you want me to get him to clean off with a rag? What do you want from me. I’ll tell him not to do it again.” That is unacceptable number one. Fast forward a couple weeks. All my food was wrong. I went in for FRESH fries and my food made CORRECTLY, and the workers kept rolling their eyes at me. Fast forward a couple MORE weeks. I havent went in this store for awhile so I’d figure why not? I went in. It was horrible. I was hearing whispers and rolling their eyes at me. It’s a couple weeks later (now) and I just went through the drive through and got THREE frappes. Two large one medium. I went to pull up (?THEY MADE ME PULL UP FOR THREE FRAPPES?) and the manager told me I needed to pull up further. So I did. Literally 10mins went by and I was still waiting on my drinks. The manager walks out and tried to hand my drinks to a car behind me because I was too far up (facepalm). I got my drinks and they are SO melted all it is, is flavored milk at this point. I'm here all the time as a Doordasher, and they stack up well to the other McDonald's over in Jacksonville.

The morning staff is very friendly and lively. The night crew is a little more reserved and shy, but not at all unpleasant. The night shift seems to have a high turnover rate; I think a lot of them are highschool students still learning the ropes. Try to be nice and patient for them. Both shifts are a little slower getting orders out than other McDonald's in the area, but I've had very few orders with missing or wrong items from this location. The few I have gotten, they were happy to fix without issue.

The dining area is the most spacious McDonald's in the area. There's plenty of room to walk, stand and sit. They do a good job keeping the floors, tables and men's room clean; I assume the ladies room is well kept too. There are two automated kiosks you can order from; however, sometimes only one is working. The other appears fully functional, it just says it's not taking orders at that time.

The parking lot is also pretty spacious. There's a clear distinction between the drive thru lanes, and space for through traffic. The only really narrow section that could cause a traffic blockage, is right by the exit onto 258 too, so a complete traffic jam could only be caused by someone being a jerk or an idiot. Some of the parking spaces closest to the building may get blocked in by drive-thru traffic. Most vehicles should have no trouble parking at this location.

Ok, this one is really out of control and incompetent people. I've visited this one twice in the past two weeks, and the confusion and lack of control is bad. Two weeks ago I ordered from mobile order an ICE Coffee, and waited 12 minutes in my car, before going in. I went to the counter then checked for my order and no one had it. I then asked for the manager and they found it in their computer, then after 15 minutes of waiting, I receive my Mobile Order. Yesterday, I decided not to use mobile order and give the drive through a chance for an ice coffee, they couldn't scan my app, so the guy at the window says he punched in my app code for "buy 5 get 1 free", I order with light ice, Sugar Free French Vanilla, and I pay and go to pickup window, they hand me a regular with ice, I hand it back and said I ordered Sugar Free light ice. I pull up to wait in the wait lane, after 5 minutes, someone brought me another regular with ICE, I had to go in and get someone to fix the order, after 10 minutes and after the 3 try I finally got my order. (1) sugar free french vanilla ice coffee with light ice. To make things worse I never got the credit on my app for the purchase of this ICE Coffee. I won't go back to this one again for more aggravation. I will stick to my favorite McDonald's at 305 Marine Blvd,...
