5 Points Grille — Restaurant in Richmond Heights

This place has really been disappointing as of lately. My teenage daughter tried to order food online but the website would not allow her to so we drove there since I live near. When we got there, it took them like 10 mins to take our order. Then I watched a guy order one of the same things we had on our order after we’ve been sitting there like 30 mins and his food was sneakily taken to him in like 10 mins. by the guy working the register. That appeared to be one of my alfredo meals but I figured mines should’ve been coming out soon since our order was larger. During this time, I watched various people come in & out getting meals handed to them. It took them more than an hour to get our food after two staff members went back to the kitchen to inquire about our meals. Then I informed the manger and he cursed out the kitchen staff but they were not the problem! The front staff were going back to the kitchen taking meals to various people which I know took away from our order!!! We checked our food once we got it and the order was accurate but the portion sizes were smaller than I’ve seen them before! Not happy at all- no kind of discount offered for my inconvenience and if they keep this up, they will not be in business!!! Staff need to stop giving priority service to their friends and take care of people on a fair...

Wayy better than I expected from reading these reviews. The chicken sandwich, FRESH CUT fries, and onion rings were delicious! Finally a place that uses SEASONING! Plus they had a homemade BBQ. Above all, it was great meeting the owner Garrett who’s taken over his family business. He said they’ve been in business 30+ years! Super down to earth, humble and kind dude. Plenty of regulars popped in and showed love. He took care of us, as we came in late around 9:30 pm after we left a different restaurant down the road as their kitchen closed early. 5 points kitchen stays open late. And in my man Garrett’s words, “5 points is for the people.” Wish I got a pic of the menu as they’re updated and really nice quality compared to the pics I seen on google which were misleading. Chicken sandwich and fries was $13 and a side of onion rings was only $5. Super cool owner named Garrett, really nice dude. Food was def worth it. Don’t let any bad reviews or pics deter you. I have been a customer here for years. I have never had a problem with the food, quality or taste as it’s always been good and prompted me to return. I usually order on DoorDash since I don’t live nearby anymore and this is the second time in a row the order has either been severely delayed or straight up canceled without any explanation. I have contacted DoorDash about this and they have nothing to say beyond issuing a refund. I’ve called to report my issue and the phone goes straight to voicemail. I know the phone is a standard phone which means it’s either off the hook or disconnected which is ABHORRENT as a business. I always support black businesses and even bring my issues straight to them without attempting to step on the business but this is simply outrageous. Do better or take yourselves off of Doordash. I placed an order at 2:51 today and as of 4:43 my dasher has still not received my order along with others waiting in the lobby! Absolutely poor excuse for a business!
