Don’t know what number visit this is. They changed the menu and took all the good food off it. I could no longer get a beyond burger, the only menu item I could eat. They replaced it with a black bean burger-yuk. I got macaroni and cheese. My guest got a Cobb salad $17. The restaurant was empty, parking lot was full. We had a hard time getting a table because they were holding all the tables for call in reservations. Really dumb. They told us to eat fast. This place needs a professional manager.
Fifth visit and we lucked out and got Olivia again. It’s like hitting the jackpot. She is excellent and I hope she owns the restaurant some day. Our fourth visit was the best so far. No beyond burgers on the menu but I got one. He had a California burger and everything was fantastic. It was fantastic because Olivia took great care of us. She is the best waitress we’ve had anywhere in Pennsylvania. We returned six months later. Our third visit. Beyond burgers were no longer on the menu but still served. I got a Guinness burger with beyond substitution and smashed potatoes and it was really good. My guest had broiled haddock with baked potato and Brussel sprouts. The brussel sprouts were burned to a crisp and we can’t understand how anyone would put them on a plate to serve to a customer. We pointed it out to our waiter but nothing was taken off the check. I ordered a shark attack for desert and the waiter didn’t know the price. It wasn’t a great drink but the idea and floating gummy shark was awesome. My shark 🦈 sunk to the bottom of the drink after a few minutes. He was cold. It was tough getting him out with a straw.
It was our first time there. They accommodated our reservation on a busy night. Prompt courteous service no waiting at all. Food came out fast even though the restaurant was full. Great hard-working wait staff. Mixed drink was not much more expensive than a soda. Food was very tasty and hot. I had a beyond Hawaiian burger and cucumber salad. It was delicious. I added a baked potato for $3. The bill was $50 for two people. Can pray for more vegan options because we will want to return. We are both short and we were seated at a booth and couldn’t get close enough to the table to eat. We managed. Place was noisy and intermittent screaming from the kitchen. Would be nicer with soft...
Read moreA group of us were golfing at Berkleigh and since I am the coordinator this month I picked Ozgoods for lunch after our round. I called and made reservations so they knew we were coming. The place was great. The foursomes came in about 15 minutes apart, we had separate checks and the service was awesome. The food was great and the place was very accommodating. I'm embarrassed to say I do not remember our server's name but she was fantastic. This will be the go to place any time we golf in that area. Great job. Thank you.
Visited again on 9/10/20 and had the same positive visit. I called for reservations and said there would be about 20 of us golfing at Berkleigh and they made accommodations for our group to sit outside. Because it was raining our group was cut down so I called them and said it was about 12 that would show up. They said fine and changed our accommodation. It was a rainy day but we made it after our round of golf and our server Emma was wonderful. She handled us perfectly as we were coming off the course about 20 minutes apart. Everyone in our group had a great experience and loved the food. It was pouring rain and the porch was a great outdoor...
Read moreI have dined here many times with friends and family for years. It was a favorite place to go. Our last few visits there was a definite downturn in service and food quality. The bacon in the Cobb salad were nothing more than greasy burned bits, leaving blobs of grease in the salad. The nachos didn't have the beans and the food came out for everyone but 1 person. 10 minutes later they got their food. A group was having a loud zoom meeting in the room we were in and made conversation at our table impossible to hear. Thinking it was just a bad night we decided to try again a couple of weeks later. Not a good experience either. No nachos on the menu, no spinach crab dip, no bang bang shrimp. All our favorites gone. Cobb salad came out half the size it usually was, chili was cold, and smothered chicken was small at best, possibly cut in half during prep. Again not all diners at our table got their food. It's bad enough they removed the fried Pickles and cobbler desserts. Now all these items. Almost all desserts contain nuts, another disappointing menu change. At this point, we won't return. We supported this venue frequently and will search for...
