Albert Pizzeria — Restaurant in Richmond

Let me start out by saying, I NEVER leave 1 star reviews unless it is absolutely deserved and this is that time. First of all, the Pizza is GREAT! But the woman who claims she "owns the place" has a horrible attitude and she has no understanding of what customer service means or is. She wouldn't let me place an order over the phone unless I gave her my card info. (Understandable if an order is over a certain amount) which my order came out to roughly $45. So I got 2 pizzas, a salad, and pasta. (Not that big of an order) but the issue is not paying over the phone, it's the fact that she accused me of something I did NOT do. She accused me of calling a week ago and not picking up the food I ordered. I told her I've never called and it was my first time ordering from there and I've had the same phone number for over 2 years so there's no way that's possible. Plus I would never do that anyway. I get there to pick up the food and I see that my bank shows they charged me $95!! I asked her about it and she told me "I don't know what to tell you" ...... are you serious? How about tell me how I got overcharged and that you will correct it?! Come on you seriously can't come up with anything else to say? Like I said lack of customer service experience... But for an owner of a restaurant you would think they would want their customers to keep coming back so you make their experience pleasurable right? I'll tell you what! I will NEVER go there EVER...

Ny Pizza it's not . I've been going to them for years. However I will not continue. Ever since they raised prices on ingredients, they want to get stingy with the ingredients. I don't believe in charging more and getting less. The older lady in there had the nerve to tell me that extra cheese was on my 4 slices of 26.00 pizza . I'm a New Yorker I know what extra cheese looks like. Had the audacity to tell me them little sprinkles of mozzarell was extra cheese. Then when I challenged her on it she wants to catch a tude then proceeds to hand me two packs of dry parm ARE YOU KIDDING ME !!!! so now you want to insult my intelligence. Then when I told her no fix it or I'm not paying for it . She says we'll since your complaining about it I will do it this once , so now your gaslighting me . I advised her your not doing me any favors just do what your supposed to do . I would not go back here for all the money in the world . The problem is people just take the food whether they are satisfied with it or not . They are not accustomed to people calling them out and making them be accountable. They will try to insult you , gaslight and insult your intelligence straight disrespectful. Also don't eat the beef patties they deep fry them and then put them in the oven . That's not how you treat a Jamaican beef patty anybody from up north knows...

This establishment displayed some really unprofessional behavior. I was very disappointed to call and be told that I could possibly place an order even though it was close to closing, as the prefer walk-ins only apparently when it's 30 mins before they close. They put me on hold to confirm the the availability of ingredients and then disconnected the call. When I called back they refused to answer for the next two times and then on the third time they answer the phone stated that they wouldn't be taking call in orders only walk-ins and hung up again without allowing me to say a word. This Behavior makes absolutely no sense considering if I called ahead they would be able to prepare my order and give it to me immediately upon arrival. I would have been willing to pay over the phone. Instead they stated that walk-in orders would be taken only. So I could walk in at 9:50 and make them stay later to make my food as opposed to calling ahead and having it ready when I got there. I was Very disappointed and confused by the logic and I will not patronize this establishment because of...
