For a hometown pizza place the food is good. But Megan is definitely an example of horrible customer service. There were 5 of us squeezing in a booth and we grabbed a chair from outside to better accommodate our group. Megan came over and rudely told us we had better bring it back out when we were done, and stormed back off to the counter. She then proceeded to yell at the next customers as they walked in the door (not even waiting till they got to the counter) that they better not want pizza cause there was no dough left. This was Monday night, which is there 1/2 off a large pizza deal. Normally, in customer service you try and down play unfortunate but unavoidable occurrences by offering customers alternatives, not yelling at them.
The only redeeming factor was our actual waitress Nicole who did her very best in a negative environment. It was obviously written on our receipt we did not want jalapenos on our Grand Pizza, but there they were. She apologized profusely about the incident involving Megan and assured us she would speak with the manager. She is the only reason I would consider going back to...
Read moreWe stopped in yesterday to pick up dinner since they're takeout only right now. It was odd seeing the normally packed bar and seating area completely empty. We were so happy they're open for takeout! We've been regular customers for years now and have never been disappointed. Our favorite menu item is the sandwich on ciabatta bread. These things are massive-easily two+ meals. And they're incredible. Probably the best locally made grinders in my opinion. I've got two picky eaters at home who request Papa Mckee's on a regular basis. The pizzas are also amazing, and their antipasto salad is my local favorite hands down. Staff is, and has always been incredibly warm and friendly. My heart goes out to them at this difficult time. If you're able to, give them a call and place an order for takeout. We've got to support our local businesses and I hope Papa McKee's is around for...
Read moreMy wife and I live in Bolton so papa mckees is really the only "takeout" place nearby. Tonight we ordered 38 dollars worth of food and half of it wasn't even close to correct. The calzone I ordered I am actually in the process of cooking right now because it hadnt been completely cooked when we picked it up. Its about 50 percent done. Next, we ordered wings. Buffalo wings to be exact. We got wings, sans buffalo sauce. Half of the ingredients for buffalo wings are in the name, buffalo sauce plus wings. At least they were fully cooked. I never leave negative reviews but after spending nearly 40 bucks on food, based on the fact that it was convenient to order out rather than cooking, I find myself in my kitchen at 930 cooking a meal I paid for someone else to cook. Sadly this isnt the first time this has happened either. ...
