This place is rad and has a bunch of really cool baristas who are always ready to rock and know my order! They work hard and have even taken measures against local social issues like ensuring there are safe containers in the bathrooms for unfortunate choices others make turn to, providing space for people still doing WFH but struggling with wifi costs, and just make everything genuinely welcoming while clearly having a good time.
The only bad part has nothing to do with the store or employees but rather some of their more entitled customers who like to just cause a ruckus. This is a direct call out to: the guy who is complaining about the lids and his inability to sip out of a cup without spilling on himself that gave a one star for this store as if this isnt a giant chain - that day where you came in yelling at the baristas was SO uncalled for. Maybe consider contacting corporate directly instead of aggressively harassing hourly employees about paying for your shirt my dude, the rest of us wanted to just have our coffee in the cafe in peace and the only issue here was your struggle to to sip out of the (double cupped) cup and not spill the drink on...
Read moreI am a frequent customer of the Starbucks brand, so I pretty much know how they function. There are certain locations I will NOT go to, and this is one of those. Lol . . . Yeah, I will NEVER return to this location after my first experience there. I made a special request that I don't always make, but I have in the past without issue. Well, the older white lady they had working at the window straight faced lied to me and refused my request bc it was not possible. When a drink can be $6 to $8, depending on the order, a simple request within reason should be met, especially when other locations have never given me an issue in regard to the same exact request that I made here.
By the way, the sign that says "everyone is welcome" makes me question the mindset anyway. Who exactly are you referring to? 🤔 It can't be the pride community, as a lot of them actually work for Starbucks in our area, including the surrounding areas as well. Not to mention, that's the first time I've seen that sign at ANY Starbucks, including locations out of state ([as far as the west coast). Just...
Read moreThis morning I had the most wonderful exchange with a greatly spirited person. I didnt see them as one was taking the orders and the other was collecting the money. She too (girl at the window) greeted me with such a beautiful smile and graceful demeanor, all with such pleasantries. The entire exchange worthy of 5 stars THANK YOU. When I called to speak to the manager to report how amazing this was, Sara who answered continued to give more of the best service. She was top notch too. I was advised that the Ray of Sunshine was "KC". Thank you all for leaning into you jobs and making the relief that people come for better then okay YOU...
