Taqueria Tepatitlán in Richmond is an absolute gem! The chilaquiles were incredible, perfectly made and served in a generous portion. Everyone at our table ended up ordering them, and not a single person was disappointed.

The service was just as amazing as the food. The staff was cordial and worked together seamlessly, true teamwork at its best. Even the manager was on their feet, pitching in and making sure everything ran smoothly.

The place itself is small but cozy, and most importantly, it’s clean, which makes the dining experience even better. Plus, they have off-the-menu gems like a huarache, and they serve champurrado that’s perfectly balanced, not overly sweet but with a rich, comforting flavor. It’s an absolute must for a cold morning. I called as soon as they opened this morning and asked if they could take a big order of tacos for my job. Ms. Olga took my order, and not only did she and her team accommodate, they went above and beyond to make sure my order was correct. We came for breakfast with a large party on a Saturday morning, and they were very attentive and gave great service. Our party ordered menudos, breakfast tacos, barbacoa, and pancakes-- everything was delicious, especially the handmade flour tortillas.
