This is by far the worst service and atmosphere for a restaurant in the Northwest! I arrived Saturday at 4:30pm excited to try the food with all the great google reviews. When I approached the window to order there was one woman in front of me picking up her call ahead order. After she left the staff behind the window were working away and took another 8 minutes, yea I timed it, to acknowledge me and tell me it would be a 20 minute wait for any food ordered. That’s fine as I wanted to try the food with such high google reviews. I ordered fish and chips, shrimp and chips, a sandwich, and chicken quesadilla. I sat at an outdoor table, and it was hot outside, 96 degrees. The smell of the full to the top trash can was stinking the entire outdoor sitting area, and the lack of any breeze, made the wait unbearable, it was hot! They have outdoor fans, but they aren’t on. Anyhow 20 minutes pass, then 30, I approach the window and it takes almost 10 minutes to be acknowledged by the staff. They told me my food was being prepared. It took them another 20 minutes. In the mean time other’s show up and pick up there to-go orders. The food was finally brought to the window after 55 minutes. My 1 and 4 year old are starving and upset. My 19 year old is as well. The quesadilla is full of onions and tomatoes. My kids threw it away. The fish and chips were okay, not the best, not the worst. But honestly the worst service! If your not a local, don’t bother getting off the highway! The tap room next door is receiving all the attention!!

There are lots of parking spaces available here. When you arrive, looking at the decor, you get the vibe of being near the dock. There are a lot of things to look at, such as old signs, totem poles, fishing gear, and wood carvings. This is a fresh fish market and café. We followed Google maps here for the fish and chip reccomendation. We first searched around the market for seafood that we could take home. Everything looked fresh. They have a nice selection of large oysters and clams here, as well as jumbo scallops. The fish fillets looked like thick cuts. Everything looked delicious, but one item really caught my eye....the Shrimpmelts! It is an open slice of a French bread loaf and appears to be similar to garlic bread, except it has a load of seasoned shrimp and cheese on it. I will cook it tonight. I was told I could just heat it in the oven at 350 for 10 to 15 minutes, and when the cheese is melted it will be done and delicious! We went out on their outside patio to order our lunch. They have a nice selection of choices. We had the Halibut fish and fries. It was very tasty! It also came with a small side of creamy coleslaw. They have a covered patio, and a few tables sit outside. If you like seafood, you should definitely make the effort to get off the freeway like we did and grab some good food.

I used to give this a five and now I'm generous giving it a two. I've bragged about this place all my friends how amazing it is for so long I was so surprised when I went there today and it was pathetic. There's virtually no little lumps of anything in it. It's pretty much all gravy. I've come across three of the tiniest chunks a food to were potatoes one was clam and all smaller than the smallest half of a tip of my pinky. Since when did they just start serving people gravy? Very embarrassed to have taken my friend out to some place I bragged up to only get gravy and crackers.

This place has been here as long as I can remember tho its gone through a great many of changes throughout the years . In fact I do believe it was once a slaughterhouse or a auction house for livestock but that's neither here nor there. As a child I have fond memories of this particular fish market, turned mom and pops eatery, turned bar , turned the most exclusive speak easy in Clark county because my grandfather and I are/were seafood junkies . Even back in the good ole days this place was the best , maybe even the only place you could get local fresh fish , oysters , crab , or any other mouth watering sea bearing creature that you heart desires without actually driving to the coast. Fast forward 20 years 2 business expansions and now a brand new out door party garden and this place never seems to have any trouble keeping their customers happy and their barstools full. From the original fish market on one side that still to this day provides the best local fresh and frozen sea food to the outdoor 50s style fish and chips eatery ( for those of you in a hurry , have kids , or simply just don't care to sit in a crowded bar ) to the very friendly and fancy bar which I might add has lots and lot of beer to choose from. Several well placed huge flat screen tv's to enjoy while getting your grub on and yes if you order or buy from the original establishment they will happily bring it to you in the bar. This place is large , clean , fun , beautiful , and besides the new and improved enormous outdoor " beer" garden and the best fish/shrimp and chips on the west coast the staff here is by far the best around! They're the most friendly , intelligent , quick , caring , kind hearted bunch of local yahoos I've ever met . they're so amaizing I'm not totally sure they're human . at one point or another i though i had also pointed out the customer service here is the best , plus a special thanks to one of young and beautiful people serving on the exterior side of pick up who was as so kind to go above and beyond for me. id love to make it up to you...

Pretty disappointed with the service. I will start by saying I placed my order on a sunny day during a lunch rush, so I will give them that. I called to place a pick up order and the girl I spoke with asked if I could hold on a moment. No problem. I waited and then asked to place a pick up order, but it would be a large order for a nearby business. She asked me if I could hold on again. Also, no problem I understand. She finishes up with another customer (which I can hear the entire time, no hold), and then takes my order. I order for 7 people, each with an entree and 3 drinks. I ordered at 12:20 pm and was told I could come pick it up at 12:50pm. I asked if she could tell me how much it would cost. I heard the woman I was speaking ask someone else if I could know the total cost, to which they replied that they were “too busy to tell me the total”. I told her I was paying with cash and wanted to know how much I should bring to which she said it would “definitely be more than $50”. Right. I work about 5 minutes up the road, so I showed up 5 minutes early so I could pay. I waited at the window for a while before anyone even acknowledged I was there. There was no bell or anything and the sliding window was closed. I gave the woman my cash and asked for a receipt. She almost didn’t give me one because she wasn’t sure if she could give a receipt for a cash payment. Thankfully she asked someone else and they gave me a receipt which I need for business billing purposes. Then they said they would get my order to me “as soon as they could”. I sat there for an additional 20 minutes before I got my food. I know I had a large order, but they told me to arrive at 12:50 pm to pick it up. And also, does that mean if I would have shown up to order instead of placing an order over the phone that it would have taken an hour to get my food? Seems like a long wait time. The food was pretty good so that’s where the 2 stars come from. But overall...

I met my wife in September 2024. She lived in Ridgefield, Washington. Such a beautiful town she told me that the best fish and chips I would ever experience is at Pacific Northwest best Fish Company. I told her I highly doubt it because. I live in Gig Harbor which has some of the best fish and chips in the state at the tides Tavern. Well, after going to Pacific Northwest, best Fish Company in had their halibut I had to tell her that I was Wrong this was the best fish and chips I’ve ever had Coming forward to July 3 of 2025 sent my best friend down there who was passing through and His grandson and he called me and we sent him down to the best northwest Fish Company and he said he really enjoyed it so my wife and I went there yesterday July 5 We were so let down by the fish and chips. We could not believe it, now I’ll tell you the story We came in there, surprised that the price we paid was a little more than we’d ever paid before. We ordered the coconut shrimp. The shrimp are good. They seem kind of small though. But talking about small the ha. Were about half the size of what we had seen just six months ago they were thinner pieces and they were actually smaller in size. The three pieces came to above the size of two pieces that we got before my wife’s telling me now about one and a half pieces.. I couldn’t believe it I will say, though that it tasted just as good as before. I was really wanted to talk to the owner, but it was so crowded in there yesterday. It looked like they must’ve had a baseball Because the place was just packed so they still have the customer base it looks like, but I was really let down with how much they cut back on the size of the fish Quality is good. Quantity took a huge nose dive.. My wife’s analogy is they went from Texas toast a flatbread and that is a truth. I was not a good 60 bucks for something I should’ve paid...
