DRUNK'N MONKEY Bar & Hotel — Restaurant in Ridgeland

Called the establishment at 1:18pm on Monday, February 18, 2019, politely asking for a manager or owner. The female answering the phone hesitated, asking why I was calling. I said I had a question regarding an event they were sponsoring (at Ridgeland Pioneer Days). The female proceeded to tell me she was the owner, but refused to give me her name. I told her I was not believing her then & that I would think that information would be public knowledge. We ended the call then, as I could not verify her authenticity. I just want people to know how poorly this place handled my call. Clearly, they are receiving backlash over some sketchy (animal abuse) activities they are sponsors of. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone, as they clearly would like to avoid the issue or do not care to change. I do not wish to even give them ONE star, but the rating system...

Very disappointed... I spent $350 on one hour of gambling. I wanted to cash out the 51 credits I had left from 100 that I put in. The sign posted was NOT CLEAR on directions, I did what you are not suppose to do & it took my credits back to 0$. The bartender said the owner would be able to read the receipts and give me back what I had tried to cash out in the machine. . I was informed today that I would be out that money. I know they have video surveillance I am pretty certain if they played back the tapes they would see the glitch and know that I am not lying or trying to scam the bar. I just find it rather disturbing. My brother and father are daily regulars at this place, I would not expected this unfair...

They support/sponsor the “chicken toss” and “greased pig” event during pioneer days. PLEASE STOP SPONSORING THE CHICKEN TOSS! Wisconsin crimes against animals statute 951.02 states that “ No person may treat any animal, whether belonging to the person or another, in a cruel manner.” I believe you should teach the youth in your community compassion...
