SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES 4-10-25 : Updated. Owner reached out in regards to negative review to discuss each point listed below. Result of call was positive and well received. I guess the customers expectation vs. the owners expectations are two different things.

Visited 4-6-25 Sunday Morning Breakfast. Don't nickel and dime your customers. change the prices on the menu before adding unnecessary fees.

"Due to egg shortage there will be an additional charge per egg used for your meal." Not disclosed on menu, nor disclosed by waiter/waitress. you will see a note on table that does not have specifics makes it seem like if you order an extra egg you will be charged an additional fee. Menu prices should reflect price upcharge. Ticket was increased by $3. 4-10-25: Owner expressed since egg prices went down they have removed the increased fee. Will not be going back to confirm change.

"3% House charge on ticket" Waitress explained it to be an added tax from the restaurant if you use a credit card. Why was the charge on the ticket before payment was applied? We planned on paying with cash before the increase was discovered. Not disclosed on menu nor disclosed by waiter/waitress. 4-10-25: Owner stated this is a common practice because supposedly places like Cracker Barrell add the additional fee as well. I haven't dined at CB for years so I personally can not confirm this. On the other hand my family dines and have dined at many restaurants in the area and I guess they have missed the memo on this increase because we have never seen this additional fee on tickets. Doesn't sound like this will be changing moving forward. On the other hand we did discuss for the staff to disclose the increase charge prior to delivering the ticket. I still disagree with that business practice and think there are other options to absorb what the company pays to process credit cards..

Overall food was bland and didn't have very much flavor. We get nobody is perfect but across the board you could tell the business paid more attention to saving $ vs. focusing on quality and flavor. not worth the $40 we spent for 3 plates and 2 cups of coffee. 4-10-25: Owner didn't have much to say on this except they have addressed it and will try to improve moving forward. Good. coming from someone who was raised on a farm and know what those flavors taste like. I guess Farm to Fork is a catchy name.

Service was slow and unfriendly/Inviting. We understand on a rainy Sunday may not be the most desirable days to operate but dang at the very least dont make us ask 2 different service members to fill up one cup of coffee. Location wasn't busy at all. 4-10-25: I was impressed how the owner time stamped each action via camera system and based on what he saw met his overall expectations. supposedly when this was addressed to the waitress "quit" at the end of the day I find it very unlikely just because of one negative occurrence forced this person to quit. Based on my experience it could have been the final straw to break the camels back. If this was the case I hope this person pursues what makes them happy and brings them joy. service jobs are a...

My experience starts with doing a search in my area to find a new restaurant called" Farm to Fork". I am familiar with this concept while traveling the US but this is a treat in my home town area. As I turn right off of 2A up the hill toward the restaurant I see two new hotels on the right side. I was pretty surprised to see how large the parking lots and restaurant actually are. As I find a parking spot in a earlier dinner time I walk toward the front door. As I open the first door glass door 🚪it was pretty stiff so pull hard. I found a second pair of doors but large logo rugs nice touch. As I open the last doors i was greeted with a smile from a young girl ready to seat me. I first looked around the see the ice cream 🍦 shop to my right with a glass turn dial with yummy pies you will see in the pictures 📷. I was seated to the right where there was plenty of booths or table and chairs. As you can see from the pictures lots a country charm, wood, and mason jars used even lighting. I was served by two great servers but well taken care of. 🙂 As I went over the menu with many gluten free options I settled on the salmon , grilled squash, mashed potatoes, and strawberry vinegar salad. I was told I could head to the ice cream parlor shop to have dessert 🍨 first. 🤗 I was very impressed with the selection over 30 that changes from time to time. I also saw they have a unique coffee ☕ expresso machine. I couldn't try this out but the salted Carmel shake was so delicious with whipped cream and cherry ontop. 😋 As I go back to my table the salad was there. The strawberry slices, feta cheese, nuts with the spinach lettuce with strawberry vingarette dress was devine. The only negative I had with my experience was several spinach leaves with bad, wet/ mooshy. 😒 everything else was amazing. The main dish came out next. Wow the salmon looked delicious and taste right on spot. The grilled squash was new to me but very tasty and nice touch. Then I had the mashed potatoes that were very creamy and thick. I asked about alittle history about the place to find out it is family owned. This is there second store and has been in business 7 years buy this location 2. You will find large rooms that can be used for party events. The other side has a more fun side with a large bar 🍸 with local or old home time murals on the walls. I liked the wood table with American flag on it. I enjoyed my dinner so much I came again the next day for another taste which I rarely do. I had the gluten free pizza bbq chicken it was so delicious . They also have Lemonade that can be flavored with mango, Raspberry etc. I enjoyed them all. I also got the ice cream 🍦"flight" which you can guess is a sugar flight. It is four smaller glasses of different flavors. I had different categories because of my gluten allergy but all of them were amazing. All the girls in the ice cream parlor did an amazing job putting together everything both days. 👏 I have traveled all over the country and this is one of my top favorite restaurants by far. I highly recommend this restaurant and business. You won't be disappointed I promise. Tell them I sent you. Peace...

We had a large group and could tell the waitress was stressed. She was getting an attitude and we were all understanding and patient despite the kitchen being terrible at making our food! None of us got served at the same time. Some of us even getting served at least 15 minutes later, despite all of our friends ordering at the same time. My husband and I got served after most of our table had left, but we were about 10 minutes behind our groups putting their orders in, due to arriving later. We could’ve put it in sooner, when we arrived and even asked the waitress twice if we could do so, so that our food will come out around the same time, but she was not in a hurry to do so and dismissed us. My husband’s hamburger was burnt and beyond well done, he ordered a medium, also, it did not taste “Farm to Fork at all. It tasted like a frozen patty. Another friend had okra, and she is a professional cook, she said it tasted like they rebreaded frozen okra. The fried mushrooms were awesome, although those orders all came out all different times and the orders were switched around. They pre-charge a $.98 credit card fee on all of our receipts, whether they know you’re paying cash or not and one of our friends had to ask numerous times for it to be removed because even after she paid the charge was still on. Another friend got served her eggs and then about 10 minutes later the French toast that went with it. Another two friends never received their mashed potatoes with their order, but was still charged for it. We were given our bill before our food even came. Also, when my friend took my cup up to ask for a refill after all of our friends had left and it was just my husband and I eating because our food was so late the waitress had a major attitude with my friend. A manager should have definitely come out and made things right, but we never saw one. Numerous of us have worked in the restaurant industry, even running a restaurant and waitressing and try to have fellow feeling, but it was a hot mess from beginning to end. This was our first and last time that we...

We went out to watch the new Superman movie and on the way back home decided to get supper. We had never visited Farm to Fork before, but had heard good things. So we decided to stop by. The parking lot was full! Get inside and there's a full house with a couple of groups waiting to be seated. The inside looked nice. It's half and half...maybe off a bit on that ratio. Half is restaurant the other half is a bar and dance floor with live music. The music is loud, but really doesn't completely over power the dining area since there is a wall between the 2 sections. Our waitress Deborah was very nice. We looked over the menu and finally was able to chose our dishes. My wife got the grilled chicken, fried green tomatoes, mashed potatoes and a lemonade. The kids each got a farm burger with cheese, but one added bacon and took off the garden while the other had it as is. They had fries as a side and tea to drink. I myself decided on the hamburger steak with gravy with sides of fried squash and roasted corn and tea to drink. My wife and I tried each other's dishes so that we could try them. The chicken wasn't dry and had good flavor to it. It was definitely a delicious bite and great choice. My hamburger steak, like the chicken, had plenty of moistness to it. It wasn't tough and it wasn't falling apart. Hit just right! The flavor was great. Had some smokiness to it without over powering. The gravy was just the cherry on top. Smooth and savory. The sides were great compliments to the entrees. We also ordered some wings for the table. My wife had one, and my boy and I ate the rest. Again, perfectly cooked, meaty....mouth is watering for them right now even though it's been a couple of months since we visited. On top of this, they offer a military discount. Definitely needed since it's not cheap, but they do have some good quality food! I believe it definitely rates the prices. We enjoyed it and will return.
