Way too busy and overcrowded. The price is fair for what you get but not noteworthy. Hipster vibes if you will .. just not my cup of tea. Would I recommend? Probably not just based off of the taste. update after the response from owner Everyone's entitled to theire own opinion š š¤· I didn't say the business was bad I simply stated it was not my cup if tea.. I didn't enjoy the food and unfortunately the experience i was given the first time ordering while visiting was highly disrespectful. I did not note this in my review since I was rating; A. The quality of food. B. THE SERVICE I RECEIVED! and C. The atmosphere.... as a small business owner myself it's my job to understand the reason I received a low review and what i could do to make it better for the next visit and bring the customer back. That's your job as a business owner to build your empire. It's called constructive criticism and we all need to take it with a grain of salt... to further elaborate the review. The reasone i gave the food a low rating was simple.. it was not good and I didn't like it I got 4 things because I was recommended them by someone. I decided to give 4 items a try in 1 go. 1 of 4 items tasted good but the presentation was lazy and looked like it was just thrown in the box... now... the service I received was extremely rushed and I had questions after waiting in line over 20 minutes š the lady in the front register (blond pony tail) couldn't be bothered to answer them and disregarded allergy inquiries. Lastly the atmosphere.. overcrowded(not a bad thing for you lol i recognize when business is good) and by that I mean it's not a friendly place to be if you suffer from ptsd/sensory disorders . the atmosphere is over all good but the night and first impression i received was as if your business couldn't be bothered with going above and beyond to simply aid in small question in regards to 2 simple simple questions... 1. When is it less busy so that I may return to fully enjoy my experience without the chaos. And 2. Simple allery questions so I may enjoy the food without having to worry if my food has an ingredient that may kill me lol... I stand by my review. That's what this is meant for and apologize If iv upset you as a business owner.. no matter how small you are or big your customer is the one that matters and if you can't be bothered to ask what could have been done to improve the visit or inquire why it was i gave this review a over all 2 star rating to better understand instead of this being a public issue. Please utilize these in future occurrences and maybe stop and ask the customer "I apologize we couldn't meet your expectations during your visit. If you don't mind reaching out the day you visited and help us understand what could have been done to improve your experience at (email). We appreciate your time and hope to hear from you so that we may better understand....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy experience was not good what so ever!!. I had problems from the employees who worked there and I will be making a complaint to the owners and HR. I have pictures of the place not well taken care and not 1 but 2 having lil bigs/insects inside my mix drinks! I complaint and confronted the waitres and manager aswell. All they did was came up to me and threatened me with going outside which I'm just a ln important customer as everyone else. At the time there were over 1000 customers at the location as I speak, and as getting threatened I won't put up with it and I will take it to consideration and will most likely go back to figure out who all the employees were that were putting my life in danger especially a regular customer.. it's really not great for me and the community who goes by and try to enjoy a good time. But instead get threatened to go outside and feel like there gonna hurt me/get jumped. On top of that I ordered plenty of times which was great but when I ordered papa's with asada I asked for no onions and guess what happened lol "they put onions" lol and yes I went back to get my order fixed and they sent it out while I catcher the guy serving me sauce but yet dropped the bottle that's was not sanitized in my food and still served it to me. Yes I confronted the guy but acted like no professionism was acted and still served me. I told him that wasn't cool and still proceeded to serve me. That's when I went to the bar and all this unprofessional happened. Actions will be moved on and I will make sure safety health and osha get involved. I spent hundreds of dollars at this location just for me to get treated unprofessional. It's so uncall for and I will be moving forward on this, making sure training will be added back and hopefully new employees aswell. If I got served like this I can imagine the 100 customers who were there aswell. I'm sorry but I'm not. I won't let nobody get sick and have unknown travelers be in our drinks that we pay for so...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe visited Tap N Taco for the first time Saturday for linner. We pass by every day and have been impressed by the full parking lots, especially during lunch. It has obviously found a niche in what had been a black hole for food and the reviews seem to back that up. We liked the environment but were somewhat disappointed by the food.
The store is divided into two areas; kitchen/sit down eating area separated from a bar by a glass partition. An open grill serves a limited menu featuring tacos, stuffed potatoes and quesadillas. A half dozen four place tables and a sauce/pico bar complete the scene.
The bar area has high top tables with seating at the bar and is surrounded by floor to ceiling windows with two garage doors leading to patio dining areas. A single large screen TV sits above the bar and is easily viewed from all seats. Their beer selection has expanded but only includes one light beer.
Service was top notch, even though it was crowded. As you enter you take a tray, order and then pay for your food. You can then choose to sit in either room. Donāt forget the sauce bar. People were loading up on the delicious pico as evidenced by one woman who filled to plates with the stuff. Kind of an off menu salad.
I ordered the Carne Asada Taco and Chicken Quesadilla. My wife ordered the Taco Al Pastor. The Asada is made with grilled sirloin. Very dry grilled sirloin. Overcooked grilled sirloin. Judging by the appearance of the meat on the grill it had been there far too long. Yes they are small; this is tapas so donāt expect a full belly. The quesadilla is a larger tortilla folded over melted cheese and chunks of chicken. The chicken tasted more like fish; definitely a funky flavor. My wife found the pork in the Al Pastor tasty with a nice spice to it. I agree but again the meat was dry.
Beers come in tall and regular; prices are reasonable. My wife had the House Margarita.
While we enjoyed the bar and would come back, the restaurant is not a food destination. While it might serve to give customers something to eat while they drink and watch TV, there are better...
