McDonald's — Restaurant in River Rouge

My sister and I came up to order and she asked what we wanted. My sister very clearly said something about she wanted the buy one get one for a dollar or whatever it was. I'd never heard of it. The cashier turned around and said let me go ask my boss...The boss came over frazzled and scattered. He looked shook. Probably the fact that there were at least 30 or 35 teenagers and young kids in the McDonald's had something to do with it. (see photo)

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, this place is commonly crawling with the youth of River Rouge. It's wild in here. None of the kids were vulgar or destructive, etc, but it was a chaotic scene none the less.

So we all had a very weird/nerve racking exchange as we ordered. I ordered a Oreo mcflurry and asked for a water. He said I couldn't get those because their equipment was broken... LOL. O.K. I believe you.

See also the trash that was littering the back dining area where there were surprisingly no children. We tried to find a seat but everywhere was trashy. It was busy, we get it, but come on.

And my sister threw away her cheeseburger (across the street at dairy Queen, where they serve ice cream...) because she said it tasted old and hard. The ONLY reason this gets a 3 for food is because I only ordered fries this time and they were the best McDonald's fries ever! Were so delicious...

UPDATE: This place is CONSTANTLY closing their dining room. Half the time when you show up here to eat inside the doors are locked in the middle of the day! Ridiculous. Just avoid this McDonald's and save yourself...

Visited on 5/11/19, at 6:00 a.m. in the morning. Door was locked, despite sign on door saying 5:30 lobby opens. Knocked to get someone's attention, finally after a few minutes, someone unlocked the door.

My wife went to order coffee and breakfast items, I went to use the bathroom.

Upon entering the men's bathroom, standing at the sink cleaning it, was a McDonald's employee smoking a cigarette. He saw me, and, without a care in the world, continued to enjoy his cigarette and clean the bathroom. Only issue, it appears he has already cleaned the stall, as the floor had been mopped and was still wet. The issue was the toilet seat had dry urine all over it. Unusable by my standards.

Left the bathroom with the employee still smoking his cigarette, and told my wife we weren't ordering anything from this location and left the store.

So they had not unlocked the doors for at least a half hour after opening, an employee was smoking a cigarette in the bathroom, and the toilet was unusable.

I will never visit this location again. I called McDonald's corporate so they could address the issue with the franchise owner if it's a franchise location.

Be cautious about...

The lady that took my order was ruled and inappropriate. Before I could make my selection, I heard her through the speaker saying:. " I don't have all day to wait on you." I didn't say anything and placed my order. While at the window, when I was doing all my best to put my money together, she went again, " you are holding my line. And there was no one behind me."but a car 5hat just pull in. For what response: " I'm sorry. I'm a Handycap and yes, I'm slow." She closed the register and ran to the other window. When I got to the other window, there she was telling the other girl how to handle my order. I have prove of what she said or did but, when I got to my house, two block aways, the food was as cold as a death body. French fries, we're horrible and sandwich were like rubber. Although, my order were middium she charged me for a large order. I'm a Handycap man with half of my body semi-paralyzed. And therefore, I'm an slow man. I'm sorry for all the inconvenience . But, . No one is supposed to be mistreated and discriminated like the way she did it to me The receipt number is 1343. The date and time was 09/24/2023. At 10:04 PM. Oder 43. KS#13....
