American Wings & Hibachi — Restaurant in Riverdale

It was my first time going here my bf usually comes here an I go to the china king in Union city he always hypes they food up so i decided to go the girls at the register didn’t wanna properly explain to me what comes on a combo I orderd 10 lemon pepper wings an a side of fried rice the fry’s was cold and soggy couldn’t even throw seasoning on it bec it was so cold the seasoning wouldn’t stick the wings was so small an the rice was flavorless I’m so mad I even wasted my time getting up to wash my face brush my teeth and move through traffic to come here but from now on I know to stick to china king in Union city bec this food was nasty an over hyped my bf an I made a agreement he will continue to go here an I will go to the Chinese restaurant that I like but even American deli is better than this don’t waste your time if you that hungry an you buy anything get the steak fried rice or the chicken fried rice but don’t get no French fry’s or wings bec the wings are small an dry an the fry’s are cold...

The reason for my 1 star is I was there last week for lunch & had the worst serve! Started at the counter customer serve that was terrible! Then as my food was being prepared the worker never changed her gloves as she touch the food and everything else in the kitchen. After she fried the rice, she then with the same gloves turn and took the rice that she was weighing out of them container she was making for us as the customer! So I ask the girl up front to please have the lady change her gloves and cook fresh rice for me! "She then said I'll get the manager for you because you look like you need a manager then turned her back to me and walked away". The manager came out to speak with me and I let him know what just happened! He then when back to the kitchen to prepare fresh rice for me. I still wasn't happy about the service that I received due to the fact of it happening to the next customers coming for...

I have been going to this restaurant for years! I can honestly say that this is some of the BEST Hibachi that I have had and I have had a lot! They give you a generous helping and it's actually enough for more than one person. I don't share mine though. Lol! I usually have it the next day for left overs. Not only do they give you a generous amount, they give you a LOT of whatever meat you choose. Shrimp are big and juicy, the steak is tender, and the chicken is cooked to perfection! The vegetables are crunchy and fresh! I have also tried their wings. Now, I have had better wings, but these are decent. They have a menu full of options that I have yet to try, but I plan to. I try to go here at least 3 times or more a month. You have to try this! You will NOT be disappointed! 5 stars...
