NRG Life Juice Bar — Restaurant in Riverdale

The smoothies are great. I’ve been to this location over 20 times and the smoothie never misses. My only complaint is the people skills/ customer service. It always feels like I’m bothering them or like I need to hurry up and order and i be the only one in the store. I would like to look at the menu for a few and see if it’s something else I can try. I did however get a moment with the brown skinned girl, but when I asked questions about the food it wasn’t a pleasant experience. I never had a jerk veggie burger so I wanted to know what was on it. However I ordered it and a smoothie. The burger was good. I returned with my female friend and ordered it again for her and I tried the salmon wrap both were good. That was about two weeks ago. I said I wasn’t coming back because the vibe was off. I’m a nice guy and an hvac contractor I even offered to look at their cooler in the lobby that was making a loud noise for free to see if it was something I can just adjust or tighten real quick. It turned out to be an imbalanced fan housing causing excessive noise/ vibration when running. So I couldn’t fix it but gave them a price for repair. I was like maybe if I do something nice they will be more pleasant acting because I have health issues and I like the product it helps. Rather spend my money with my own people than not my own… So I go today and I’m my head I’m like I want to try something different. Again nobody in the store and I’m feeling rushed like I show already know what I want. I’m tired of ordering the same thing but I did and didn’t even get a chance to see what else was there or what I had a taste for… I get it everyone is different but when you have a customer that is returning never complaining about the price or the fact you want cash or willing to pay the fee for card it seems like you would be more accommodating and patient and offer stuff you know you sell is good… I think a customer service/ sales class will do them a lot of good… the products I tasted are good. Not sure what happens in the back of food safety is being followed of gloves being worn while preparing food as you cannot see anything but I ate there and didn’t die. Would I recommend them? Yes will I return? Probably so. My gripe is gimme a moment to make my mind up and see what is what and be more pleasant. I’m not saying kiss my behind and roll out a red carpet but let me feel good spending my money with you! Update- love the food addition. Pepper steak, curry chickpeas, cabbage and kale was so good and great value. Pleasantly surprised.

I almost hit the floor. I love a smoothie that taste like peanut butter and jelly. Get the violet breeze add peanut butter with oat milk. Amazing. So amazing. Like another review mentioned, I wonder what makes it so sweet because I feel like I shouldn’t be drinking it but man I drank it so fast I have brain freeze, but I kept drinking it, ignoring the pain and loving the deliciousness. I saved it to my favorites, and will most certainly be back and get the same thing every single time, I’m not lying. No restroom, out of service. The place is so nice and really could be downtown Atlanta. The fence in front of the place and the location being next to other not so thriving businesses and a gas station; One could easily miss this place if you’re really not searching. I believe this place deserves a more visible location in a hot area because that drink was wow. Great price and speed.

I was hoping more from the Kale wrap as I wanted the tuna wrap, but Im trying to be Mr. healthy. I appreciate the fresh Made dressing as it was very unique and needed for the kale wrap. The taste was tough and grinding dry. Packaging was A1, very appealing but missing some vegan Mayo and sun dried tomatoes or something. Give Ya boi some credit if u change it up. Lol.

The owner, not sure if her name was melody but she was perfect helping me pick the exact smoothie I wanted. Again, the shop is nice with medicine, juices, herbs etc. I see why high reviews. I’ve been coming here for about a year now. I love the fact that this juice bar is black/ woman owned. The prices are fair and everything I’ve tasted has been really good. I typically go for the fresh juices, smoothies or sea moss.
