If I could give a negative star, I would. This was the worst experience ever! We were staying at the lake with friends and decided that we all wanted to give this place a try for supper. There were 5 families all together, which with kids was a total of 22 people – the majority of the kids were between 7-15 years old, but we did have two 4-year olds. We got there shortly before 8pm. We realized that this could take longer due to the number of people in the group; however, we only had 1 waitress who spoke broken English wait on us. After she took our order, she took another order at the table next to us and then walked away. We didn’t see her again for a long time. The kids weren’t getting their drinks and we had to go up to the bar to order Sprites for all them after an hour wait and no waitress coming back to check on us. Two hours went by and we STILL didn’t have our food. We had to go to the popcorn maker and give popcorn to the kids since they were so hungry and our waitress still didn’t come around to check on us. The table that ordered after us had left by this point. Food started coming out close to 11pm and there were 3 other waitresses bringing out food. The first 3 plates were correct, but then after that they kept bringing us food out that no one ordered. We kept telling them that wasn’t our food, but they insisted that it was and just dropped it off at our tables. There was 1 person who ordered a French Dip at our table, and they brought out 3 of them. There was supposed to be 3 orders of Mac and Cheese – we got 6 orders. There was supposed to be 2 Sirloin steaks, and we got 3 (1 of which they put in front of one of the kids and said they ordered it). My husband and I didn’t even get our meal and another person in our group ordered a Philly Cheese steak, but she was given one of the French Dips and told that was correct. I asked to speak to the manager and when she came over I explained what was happening and we are disappointed and would like to see our bill but our waitress hasn’t been seen in over 2 hours. We asked to see our waitress to find out what was going on and when she came to our table she told us “Yes, you ordered this” and kept telling us that we ordered all the food at the table – there was more food at our tables than there was even people, despite the fact my husband and I didn’t even get our meal. So we asked to see the owner to discuss this and figure out what they are going to do. He (and his son) were both getting wasted at the bar! When we tried to tell the owner that we want our bills itemized so we can see what we are being charged with, he brought out the entire slip (that was over $380) and told us we needed to pay the bill and get out. We asked again for an itemized slip for each family and he threatened to call the Sheriff on us. We told him to go ahead and call the Sheriff and we will wait for him and our bills so we can pay and leave. I asked to move the discussion out of the restaurant area (which is shared with the bar) because locals who were drinking at the bar with the owners were now coming up to us and getting in our face. We WANTED to pay our bill and leave, but not pay for the extra food they kept bringing out to us. The owner’s wife came out to allow us to go over the receipts and pay for what we got. After we paid for what we actually got, she stated, “There is $97 unaccounted for.” We told her that was not our problem (the Sheriff agreed with us finally) and explained that there was another table next to us who left, and we actually don’t remember them even having food. We didn’t get out of there until midnight, and as we are leaving, the owner says to us, “I hope your kids don’t grow up to be liars like you. And hopefully you have a designated driver to take you all home since you have all these kids with you”. Unprofessional staff, the service was terrible, and we will NEVER recommend this place to...

Horrible experience. Staff was unprofessional, didn't speak English, unorganized. We waited over 3 hours for our order...never received drinks...not even water, had food orders incorrect and half the group didn't get their order. They brought duplicates of food that was not ordered and insisted we ordered it...even swearing at us. Brought back the receipt to tell us "you did order this!" as he was already eating his order. It was another duplicate. She then threw the plate down on the table and swore at us as she walked away. The order I received was correct, but nasty. When asked to speak with the manager/owner, they were highly intoxicated, rude and disrespectful. Got the locals sitting at the bar, that he had been drinking with involved and said they had witnesses that the minute we walked in the door they heard us stating we were going to try and get our meals for free...which is absolutely ridiculous. The locals were up in our face yelling and swearing at us. They were trying to charge us for the food we did not order as well as the food we did order, but never did receive. The sheriff ended up being called on us, and our kids were all crying and upset, thinking we were going to go to jail. The sheriff agreed that we only had to pay for the orders we ordered and received. The locals were hollering at us that we "better thank our waitress on the way out, " with the intoxicated owner yelling out " hope your kids grow up to be liars just like you"....It was horrible! Not worth your time...and definitely not worth your money! We were not the only table that was upset with service as there was a table next to us that never received their...

Our family booked about 14 of the 17 rooms for a reunion. We had a lot of trouble getting our individual reservations made, as the motel number is answered in the bar most of the day and night. The staff is foreign and although they are sweet, don't always understand or relay messages correctly. I had called and also sent an email requesting that I'd pay for my 3 childrens rooms. Upon arriving my daughter in law was charged for 4 rooms (we were staying only 2) they charged my daughter as well, otherwise wouldn't give her a key. We finally got it straightened out, but took awhile. The same staff works into the night at the grill and bar and therefore NO One is at the front desk until after 10 in the morning. This wasn't good.... it's also not posted anywhere. There isn't even a number posted at the registration window for calling anyone...They don't open the restaurant until 11, but did provide muffins and a make your own coffee pot. no cups tho. and spent 30.-40 min getting some! I finally walked to the back where the help sleeps and just kept saying " Hello?anyone here"? a sleepy girl said she'd call the manager (I tried knocking on their door too) after the motel number just gave me the fax buzz....what if there was an emergency???? not a good way to conduct business! that's a major flaw!||The rooms are large and beds comfy, tho.
