Solares Donuts — Restaurant in Riverside

Ok, I wanna be honest here. I go to this place very often for the doughnuts and sandwiches, which are all delicious ( im addicted to the sandwiches) they also have smoothies that are quite tasty. However, the only complaint I have is with the iced coffee's they serve. I get iced coffee's often from a variety of places, but for this coffe they add a little bit to much sugar. Like I was so surprised when I drank it yet its bearable so I still get it (not often though so it could have changed) So that's all I have to say for the meals. Now onto the atmosphere if anyone cares. The workers are so friendly and are lovely to chat to so it's just a nice one overall. And the owner sometimes slips in lil doughnuts which makes me cry of joy inside 🥹

I can safely say that I am now a regular at Solares. They are the third owner we have had of this donut shop in the last decade but are by far the best.

The original owners were great but retired several years ago. The last owners sold extremely overpriced donuts and their quality was quite subpar.

These new owners are amazing though. Their prices are reasonable, the dounts are excellent, and their breakfast sandwiches are equally great. I have gone at least half a dozen times in the last couple of weeks alone and I cannot give higher praise.

Ham and cheese croissants are my favorite thing at any donut shop. If I don't like them or they don't make them then I'm not likely to go back to that place. Don't like the cheese they used. It wasn't the same as most places or the kind normally used. It was the white cheese that come on sandwiches. It just doesn't taste the same when the cheese is switched up or substituted. So this is donut shop would be a last resort type thing for me. Other than that my friend loved the glazed donuts...
