We were staying in Springfield and were looking for good pizza and Italian food for a family of 5. We found Gallina Pizza on Google reviews and decided to pay a visit. The place is very unassuming and parking is a bit tight. This said we were very impressed by the food. There was one gentleman working who was beyond friendly and had patience as we looked over the menu for several minutes. An 18 inch pizza was cooked in about 10 minutes and was done perfectly. So, I order a meatball sub and a order of (8) hot wings breaded. So the wait was not horrible. But once my food arrived, bill was 15 I paid 25! So I get inside to enjoy my food and the wings are not hot. In fact no seasoning at all. And also they were very soggy. Almost as if they were made before and just reheated. The meatball sub of course was absolutely astounding like usual. But the wings were not good at all. I have been coming to gallinas since I was a little girl with my parents and brothers. This is one of the hardest restaurants to go to now that my parents have both passed because of the memories.
