China Chen — Restaurant in Riverview

Okay so the inside isn’t anything special, but its more for takeout! At least there was a place to sit when I spontaneously decided to eat some of my food at the restaurant. This is my first time ordering their food and I was pleasantly surprised to say it was really delicious! I ordered house lomein and house egg foo young! My food was ready at the time he said it would be! All while I was there, their phone rang off the hook and at several points the line (to order or pick up) was nearly out the door! The younger man at the counter was so fast that you could hardly understand that he was saying “China Chen” when he answered their phone! I would order from them again!! When I called to place my order the lady was very rude. I got there and paid, had to sit and wait 10 mins which wasn’t a big deal because I got there early. So my food was supposedly never sitting, I got it as soon as they bagged it all up. By the time I got home (which is literally a 5 minute drive) the food was so cold! How does that even happen? Very disappointed. A waste of $50. Don’t go here. I rather drive the extra miles to go to the one up the road in the shopping center by harbor freight. That’s where I went last time and I liked them. I have used China Chen a few times for takeout orders and their food is always been hot and tasty. When you call in advance your food is usually ready within 10 to 15 minutes. Definitely give them a try if you're in the area.

(Why 4 vs. 5-Stars? In one instance a few months ago I ordered the Chicken Chow Mein and the chicken had not been completely cooked. I put it in a skillet to complete the cooking process.. It hadn't happened before and it hasn't happened since. Should the quality of the food remain high I will come back and change my rating to a five-star)
