Kiki's Restaurant & Lounge — Restaurant in Riverview

I use to really enjoy coming to this place, I called today to place an order to go as have I done so many times. I’ve noticed lately they have become very nasty towards people who do not speak their language. What shocked me the most was being rudely hung up on by a male. From what I can only think is that he may not have completely understood me due to the language barrier. But that does not give you the right to hang up on a consumer, and say “you called the wrong place” which is that’s craziest thing I’ve heard in a long time. What’s funny is You lost money lol, which is one horrible business move. Because I will never patronize this place again. Let’s be honest it isn’t like the food is all that good anyways. I’ve only enjoyed a select few things on their menu. They don’t compare to their competitor off causeway blvd called, Liborios Latin Cafe & Catering. Which Is where took my business. I can see why they have a much bigger establishment and always packed, because they know how to treat people. No matter your ethnicity they welcome everyone with open arms. I would stay clear of Kiki’s restaurant and lounge…Do better Kiki… but what I do hope is your business suffers due to your rude treatment. No one...

Well well well.... I love this place this is my new Latin restaurant. I love there food . I have been eating here everyday for the past 2 weeks. I have had their Cubans pressed very full of flavor once you try their cubans you will NEVER GO BACK TO LATIN AMERICA TRUST ME they used their roast pork on the Cubans not sandwich meat . I have tried their fried rice with the pulled pork and black beans. We love their plain yellow rice its very moist . I have tried their potatoes with carrots and the roast pork. Look the food here is very well seasoned if you live anywhere off 78th, bloomingdale ,Madison ,or causeway you won't go anywhere else I promise. it smells so good when you walk in these pictures don't do it justice but wow you will love it just try it. For 2 years I have been coming here since I live down the street. When I say this was my go to spot I, would come here often to eat, play pool, and have drinks in the entertainment center. I have since stopped coming to eat because now they serve you only 3 plantains with your order. That’s insane I’ve never seen a Latin restaurant serve THREE plantains. The quality of the food also isn’t what it used to be I used to get my kids picadillo and Ropa vieja but they don’t like it anymore. Honestly, I have started going to Liborios now since you get a heavy plate full of everything for the same price if not lower. I’m not saying it’s a bad place but it’s be nice if they stopped trying to squeeze every penny out of the food...
