Snack Wagon — Restaurant in Roan Mountain

I have ate here a couple times but this time I got a bacon cheeseburger , where was the bacon and Burger? The burger was as thin as a paper clip and one tiny piece of bacon on it i Thought they gave me a veggie burger instead cause it was all I could tast . The club wasn't much better ! Love the Snack Wagon. Great food and awesome people, generally fast service. Outdoor picnic tables only. Standard fast food fare, burgers, hotdogs, grilled cheese, fries, tater wedgies, fried okra (awesome) and salads. The grilled chicken sandwich is great, my favorite is the fried bologna sandwich, thick slice of fried bologna on a hamburger bun, fixed the way...

I drive a hour to come eat their bacon cheeseburger and tator wedges, with ranch dipping sauce. It's so nice to stop and eat then just up behind there is roan mountain park. Just a beautiful place for a picnic. They have picnic tables at the snack wagon too. All around great place to stop. Great value for the money....
