I have not been here in forever, since I was married almost...a good while ago. It was different and it wasn't. It is what it is and I don't see anything wrong with that. Good service for a Thanksgiving evening. They had food for anyone who wanted to eat for the holiday. I felt that was a great idea and I am very happy for those who didn't have any dinner to go over there and get it free. It was brought by people there. The music was good and the karaoke was well like karaoke at all places. It was very good to see people have fun. But it also has it's times when even friends and alcohol mix up can be an argument. But it was stopped quick by the people and the staff. No one was hurt and all was well. I wanted some fresh french fries and onion rings. I was happy that they actually stay serving fried food until they quit selling alcohol. It is apparently the law in the City. I know many don't and I will say that they are in different areas of the valley. But it was very good and I don't mind the price either. We had a great time with our friends and they sang karaoke . I definitely will be back from...
Read moreI’m very disappointed with my experience at The Filling Station. My boyfriend and I went on Friday night and only ordered one drink and a shot, which originally came out to $19.50. However, a couple of days later, that charge was updated to $49.50 without my authorization. When I called to ask about it, the staff claimed that I had left a $30 tip, which I know for a fact I did not. One of the managers even told me I was “too drunk to realize what I signed,” which was extremely rude and unprofessional. I also asked to see the camera footage and was told I couldn’t without a police report. I’ve tried multiple times to get in contact with the owner and have received no response. On top of that, some of the bartenders seemed to be drinking while working and didn’t seem to realize what they were ringing up — one of the shots was even charged incorrectly. This was a very frustrating and unprofessional experience. I would not recommend this place until they improve their management, billing accuracy, and...
Read moreI live in Texas, here with work. I was told this place was a great place to go. I went last night. Sat at the bar. Was totally invisible to the girl behind the bar. When you are alone in a new city, you seriously need the folks at different establishments to make you feel welcomed! When i was walking up to the bar, there was a woman that I figured was a customer. I asked her which way to go in. She pointed then went on in. Come to find out, she is a bartender there as well. She Didn’t even acknowledge I was sitting there waiting to order. If I could give 0 stars I definitely would! I ended up going to Martins Downtown. It was fantastic and I was made to feel so welcomed!
It’s a sad time we live in, that you can’t even go into a bar and being treated as though you exist!! 😞 I have a feeling they don’t take kindly to out...
