Thank you for showing us how Not to run a business. As someone who has been here multiple times before....I put in a to go order with a friend and was sitting outside with my puppy on a very hot day. Since I had joked back and forth with the owner before....I stuck my head in and just asked when she got a second if I could get a little plastic bowl of water. What I received was someone who threw her hands in the air and was extremely rude....saying how that wasn't her job to take care of my dog. Taken aback I said don't worry about it and yet she came out with a bowl and plopped it down and gave me nothing but attitude. I was shocked when she looked at me and said "is there anything else I can do for you" with an attitude I didn't deserve or was warranted. I'd heard of others getting nothing but rudeness from this owner but never experienced it until today. They lost my business for life and it's just plain sad in a small town in which I love supporting local that someone can be this rude to customers. We stopped there around 11am and it was pretty empty at this point. My husband ordered steak with hashbrowns and sunny side up eggs and toast. Only one of the eggs was "sunny" The steak was tasteless and appeared to be 2 slices that had been cut with a deli slicer It was tough. The hashbrowns were also tasteless. I ordered homefries, easy over eggs gravy and toast. The homefries were way over cooked and some where burnt and dry. They tasted and looked like they have been sitting on the griddle all morning. The gravy was tasteless and the eggs over done. The only tasty item was the toast. Will not recommend this...

This is one of the best,if not the best, unknown restaurants in the Springfield area! Food is what mama and grandma made! prices are so reasonable! all of staff are friendly and make you feel at home! and atmosphere though not the fanciest is an experience in itself with all the lighthouses and pictures!
