Razzos Family Pizzeria — Restaurant in Rochester

Arrived around 6:10 pm. Sat down, a bubbly young server took our drink orders. We got our drinks and ordered a pizza About every 10 minutes, or so, the server would come around and ask if we needed anything. About 40 minutes after we ordered our pizza, we were told that our order would be out in 2 minutes. 5 minutes later, we were told that she was informed about a different order. That is when the server told us it would be up in '4 seconds'. About 6 minutes later we finally got our pizza. It was nice and hot. We ordered a 14 inch with green peppers and onions on the entire pie and sausage on 1 half. They seem to skimp on the toppings here (I don't think there was even a dozen little clumps of sausage on the half). The server asked if we needed more drinks several times. 1st time and will be a regular! From time of arrival to time of leaving, I've never seen such great service! Smiles, personable, and very knowledgeable of dishes served. Megan was awesome! I had lasagna andside salad. The French dressing was homemade and the best I've had! The lasagna was huge! It was creamy with a slight sweetness. It came with two breadsticks which were seasoned. I ordered a piece of chocolate cake to take home with the 1/2 portion I couldn't finish. The chocolate cake was a big slice, homemade and was delicious! Reminded me of my grandma's secret chocolate cake which no one ever knew the recipe! The atmosphere was very family friendly. It was packed, but not noisy and the servers were on top of it. You know, the food here has always been good, when my order is correct, (laugh), but the servers can ignore you if you ask for something. There is a really loud one who blamed us for seating ourselves AFTER we are told pick a seat, so that gave her a reason to tell the others to ignore us. Counting now 5 tables received food after us, but it is PROM weekend and they are short staffed. Hmmm. I didn't give them any trouble, just asked for a water that sat on the bar for 20 minutes, so I got it myself. Glad my granddaughter was distracted, so she wouldn't be upset about her spaghetti. Two tables near us were surprised how long we waited for spaghetti and a salad. Sure wish I knew what we did to upset...
