We went here, as a recommended location so the expectation was a little higher knowing others enjoyed it. It is a very small place with very little room for the waitresses to move around. While there I saw numerous things that gave the indication that the place was not very functional under pressure. Numerous gub hub drivers stuck waiting because of errors in the orders, wrong orders given out, and multiple times the staff argued with the drivers. I'd love to say I was being judgemental but was close enough to see and here the frustration of each one of the drivers with how it was being handled. Placing our order we asked for items just as they were on the menu. My son ordered 2 of the the sticky bun pancakes that come with walnuts, brown sugar and icing on top of them. I ordered crepes that allow you to select 2 topping from the list. I chose blueberries and strawberries with a side of the homemade corned beef hash. What we ended up with was a single walnut pancake and crepes. Turns out the second pancake, icing and the hash were never put on the list the waitress sent out. Once we received the bill I was hit with an additional charge for the extra fruit despite the menu stating to chose 2. The chaos that was their waiting list for people looking for a seat was a complete mess. They were not able to give anyone an estimated wait time even if they were the only ones waiting. They informed 2 men that they could not sit at the empty bar until they went through and asked everyone, who had already been asked, if they wanted to sit at the bar. They had all clearly said no which is why they were still waiting. The only reason I am not making this review lower is that I am aware that everyone has a bad day. This may not be the normal scenario for them but as a first impression it was not worth the trip over there. It is highly unlikely I would drive back over to get breakfast there.

We stopped in on a late Sunday morning, we expected the wait to get in, small waiting area in the entry way. We were sat but did wait quite a bit for someone to come over and then for pur food to actually come. Very large menu, savory and sweet options. Surprised to see crepes on the menu, theirs were filled with a marscapone filling, delightful! Raisin toast looked to be homemade, not sure if in house or elsewhere but it was a good thick, soft piece. Homemade hash omelet, Mary style came with not only the cornbread but the potatoes and carrots, and I wasn't made about it. I asked for a side of hollandaise on the side, it wasn't packaged, but was just ok. Crispy hashbrowns on the griddle with the addition of cheese was a nice side option. They also offered grits and/or oatmeal, another testament to the large menu they have. Decent cup of coffee, not too bitter and a large hot tea selection was offered. I wouldn't make a special trip, but if I was in the area I'd stop in if there wasn't a wait.

Have been wanting to scope this place out for quite a while and finally got the chance! Atmosphere is nostalgic old school vibe. Lots of outdoor seating available. Avoided breakfast rush by coming closer to lunch time. Ordered off the specials board: Chipotle breakfast bowl. Now...my #1-go-to-off-the-charts breakfast meal would be considered a "breakfast bowl" (the Barnyard from Riverhouse in Milford), so any "bowl" has big shoes(bellies?🤪) to fill. I have to say, this bad Larry absolutely measured up. I must have said "this is so damn good" probably 6 times. Pancake on the side was also delish; thick and dense. Looking forward to the next meal here! TLDR: Absolutely check this place out! And if the "Chipotle breakfast bowl" is on the specials board, you'll be making a mistake if you choose anything else! 😉

We recently hired Little Miss Sophie’s to cater our wedding reception in Salem, Massachusetts with 130 guests – they are simply THE BEST! We can’t say enough wonderful things about their food, their service, their attention to details, and their kind and warm professionalism.

We initially travelled to the restaurant to do a tasting, and got to sample a ton of different options – everything was beyond delicious, and they even gave us all of the leftover food from the tasting to take home with us (which we made several meals out of!).

In the months before the wedding, Sue was in regular contact with us about our contract and all pertinent details, and was always available to answer any and all questions we had – she was so kind and pleasant to work with!

Sue and Jess were amazingly flexible with us as well, and worked with us to add in vegetarian options, gluten-free options, and even a special meal for one of our guests with severe food allergies. Overall, they were incredibly responsive to all of our needs and questions (which made the process enjoyable and fun, rather than anxiety-inducing!).

The appetizers we ultimately selected (coconut shrimp, garlic potato puffs, spanakopita, caprese salad skewers, chicken cordon bleu bites, cocktail sausages, rustic buffalo chicken dip, and spinach artichoke dip) were AHHHHHMAZING – we could have made an entire meal just out of those! The casual dinner buffets we selected (a tacos and nachos bar with all of the fixings, a creamy mac and cheese bar, and a slider station with pulled pork, pulled chicken, hamburgers, and vegetarian burgers) were SO good. Even the desserts – fresh fruit and homemade cookies and brownies – were to die for! Everything was made from scratch and absolutely mouthwatering and scrumptious.

They made SO much food – guests were able to eat as much as they wanted, and we even had leftovers (which they packaged up for us to take home!). I was so impressed by both the quality and the quantity of food – it was all truly astounding.

We got SOOOOOOOO many compliments on our food from our guests, many of whom said it was the most delicious and fun wedding food they had ever had at a wedding, hands down… and that is high praise coming from our friends and family, who love to eat!

Jess and her team did an INCREDIBLE job – paying the extra money to go full-service was a great decision for us. Having staff on hand to help manage the buffets, clean up, and simultaneously be attentive to our guests (filling water glasses, etc.) was well worth the money!

Overall – Little Miss Sophie’s was a five-star experience in every category. Jess clearly is passionate about her food and about making the client pleased – and it showed (and we appreciated it so much). We were so pleased with everything, and I would hire them again in...

For starters I was super excited to stop in for breakfast. The lot was packed which is a sure sign of popularity. My excitement quickly went south however after walking in. No one said hello when we walked in and it took quite a while to be seated in spite of there being 2 empty, clean tables in the dining room. The person that sat us was very friendly and brought our drinks out right away and let us know that our server would over shortly. Shortly turned into almost 20 minutes. When we finally did get a server we thought for sure that we were going to be in for a good meal that was well worth the wait. I ordered one egg, over-hard, homemade hash and a side of bacon. My husband ordered country fried steak, over easy eggs with home fries. It took a bit for the food to come out but again, we were confident it was gonna be awesome. The plates were beautiful and the food looked yummy. I dug into my hash and was instantly sad. It was cold and tasteless. I think it had been previously made, refrigerated and then reheated, but not long enough. My egg was the same... Cold. And it wasn't quite hard enough so biting into a soft egg when you're a bit of a texture freak is very unsettling. The bacon that looked like the most delicious strips you could find was unbelievably bland. Had I been blindfolded I would have thought I was eating diet and saltless potato chips. My husband was equally surprised by the blandness of the steak. Not even the gravy had much taste. A pinch of salt and pepper go a long way. His home fries had to be more than a day old and if they weren't I would be shocked. Pretty tough to mess up fried potatoes... I NEVER send food back even if I don't like it but in order to eat the hash it was necessary. No love came from the kitchen and it was painfully obvious. Needless to say, we'll not be back for breakfast again. Aside from the two friendly people we interacted with, I can't say anything really good about this place. And that, makes this foodie...
