EDIT: We had a lovely dinner. As I had thought and mentioned in an earlier edit, the time of day must have had something to do with the previously terrible experience because this time was amazing. We got there shortly before close and we weren't pushed or hurried. I was a goof and tipped over my fresh soda less than 10 after we got there. The service was great. The Carne Asada was on point just like always. I recommend you hitting this place up in the eve if you go. One of my favorite dinner places in Rochester. Highly recommend!! 5 stars! EDIT Saturday, August 21:. I ate here again. I don't know if it was an off day or maybe the chef/cook was sick but the food was underwhelming. I had ordered the Tres Marias. The green sauce on the chicken enchilada was phenomenal. That's where it ended. The meats were tough and heated unequally. Similar to being made by chef Mike (microwave). The green beans in the rice was so mushy they were almost unrecognisable. The peas were shriveled and hard as a rock. Some of the rice was undercooked. I was highly disappointed. Because I've been going there for quite a while I know the food can be amazing. I'm unsure as to what happened Saturday. As always the Staff was very friendly and professional and the chips, dip, and salsa were great. The food looked good. Let's hope that this was an off day and not the start of a trend. This is one of my favorites. It's very clean and relaxed. The drinks were sized appropriately vs cost in my opinion. Some are enormous! The staff is phenomenal. They are quick, attentive, and very friendly. The food is exquisite! I highly recommend my favorite, the Carne Asada. Good sized portion of tender steak sliced thin and seasoned to perfection with carmelized onions, tortillas, red rice, refried beans, lettuce, tomato, sour cream, guacamole a good sized jalapeno stuffed with cheese and wrapped in bacon. There may be more to the meal that I am unable to remember. The fresh homemade tortilla chips, fresh black bean dip and fresh salsa they bring before the meal is a perfect starter. Gather up the family for an evening of great food or grab some friends to watch the game while tossing back a few drinks! You won't be disappointed. With a drink, I spend $25-$30/person. It's wheelchair friendly.

There are two locations in town, this is the larger, original location in town. Conveniently located near the airport, convention center and walking distance to a hotel. There food is 100% delicious, even if you’re not a fan of Mexican. It’s so full of flavor. I love eating at either location. I brought a friend who dislikes spicy food, so she never eat Mexican. I promised it wouldn’t he hot or too spicy. It’s full of flavor, but they allow you to add the heat as YOU prefer. They have a very large menu, wonderful cocktails and great desserts. The chocolate cake is our favorite. They serve salsa and black bean dip while you ponder their menu options. Service is always quick and helpful. You might have to wait on Friday/Saturdays evening for a table, but it’s worth the short wait. The tables are cute as they are giant barrels with a table on top.

It is a Mexican restaurant in Rochester, MN. The food is excellent and you will love it even more if you like pique. Yes, the food has a very good taste. The food portion is fair. The prices are in line with what they serve you as food. The employees are excellent, friendly and chatty. Always pending service and good customer treatment. They have a great variety of alcoholic drinks, including different kinds of tequila. The steak fajitas are excellent option and if you want a little spicy meat it can be grilled steak "carne asada". Oh, and you are greeted with a service of nachos with spicy red sauce and bean sauce. I recommend them!

Very disappointed in this place. Was told a half hour wait time, which we were ok with because we were waiting on others to join us. Got drinks from the bar and the bar staff was nice. Hour passes by we had to ask if we were going to get seated, the person who was in charge of seating never really gsve us a answer. So we continued to wait.. we have waited a hour and a half the place was clearing out we had to ask again, finally they put us at a table. We got our drinks right away and menus, waiting another 30 minutes to put our order in. The place was pretty quiet at this time, we were waiting on chips and salsa multiple times our waiter checked on us once while we were waiting for our food. I simply wanted a steak burrito with onion and peppers topped with cheese sauce with rice and beans. I was told they dont have anything like that and the closest thing they had was a fajita burrito with a salad. I went with it because i was tired of waiting and hungry . Asked for a manager once we got our food. Explained to the manager the wait time.. and then how i couldnt have what i wanted and others food were cold. She said she was "sorry" and that they ran out of rice and beans. I explained to her that our waiter didnt communicate that with us and that the wait time wouldnt of been so bad if someone would have let us know and kept us in the loop. We got our bills two of the couples got charged for the wrong things. I was more disappointed in the manager with not making things right with the cold beans me not being able ti get what i wanted. Ill never...

Where do I began. This place was amazing. From the moment we walked in the door they treated us like we were the only ones in the restaurant even though the place was packed. We were seated immediately and before we could take our coats off a waitress brought warm chips and salsa and beans. All four of us ordered different margaritas and they were fantastic. Our waiter name started with a D. Simply amazing. Treated us like he had known us forever. We had a couple questions with the menu and he knew every answer to every question we asked. Father in law ordered a seafood burrito of some sorts and he is very hard to please and he was blown away by the size of the burrito and the taste. In the 10 years I have known him I have never seen him this happy about a meal and service. I ordered the burrito with steak, chicken, rice, and french fries. Unfortunately I am a picky eater I asked for a couple of items to be left off of it and there was a miscommunication between the kitchen and server. I chose to just pick around because this burrito was HUGE and everyone else was enjoying their food. D felt horrible about it but again not a big deal and I was able to just pick around it. Even with the miscommunication the way we were treated and the amazing food I would give 6 stars if I was able to. This is simply the best all around restaurant in Rochester and surrounding areas and cannot wait to go back. So impressed! If you are in the area do not hesitate to go here. You will not be...
