Velly Pizza — Restaurant in Rochester

I am in love with this restaurant! Small, quaint, cozy, that perfect small town kind of place where the food is made with love.

I came in late, about 10 PM on a Friday and the store hours are wrong on Google, they close at 11 on Friday and Saturday. Regardless, I was waited on by the sweetest, most kind, and courteous woman I could have ever imagined. She was so nice and friendly.

Anyways, the food was incredible. Unfortunately, they were sold out of indian food so all I could order was pizza/wings but after receiving my food, I was no longer disappointed!

The cheese bread was cooked to absolute perfection, and I mean that. It was PERFECT!!! The crust was nice and thin, but not too thin, and it was just a 10/10 can't stress that enough.

Also ordered the Tikka massala wings and they were amazing as well. Spicy and flavorful while also being tender and juicy? Sign me up!

Overall this place is a hidden gem and I love the customer service and the food, I will definitely recommend to ANYONE and I WILL BE BACK!!!

P.s. their ranch dressing kinda sucks I will say that. If the owners are reading this PLEASE MAKE YOUR RANCH DRESSING don't buy...

I've had countless pizzas in Chicago, in NJ, and in NYC. . . and Velly's pizza is my favorite! Skip Pizza Hut and give this local place a try. I live six hours away from here now and still look forward to every visit home when I can stop by Velly and get my usual, a paneer tikka masala pizza.

As an Indian food fan, I can think of nothing better than delicious curry on top of a perfect crust that is crunchy on the edges without being hard, floppy, or chewy. There are a ton of toppings to choose from, from the usual Italian fare (which I personally haven't tried), curry-inspired meat pizzas, and tons of vegetarian ones too. Their flavorful pizzas full of bright herbs and vegetables are so refreshing as someone who gets a little bored of the usual tomato sauce and meat. And the pizzas are hot and ready in 15 minutes!

They also make some really good pasta. Their paneer pastas are awesome, I've had them all. It is by far the best restaurant in the area for vegetarian options.

Definitely check them out if you're in the area! Support a local pizza place and enjoy some great pizza. I have to drive six hours to get my fix and I'm still...

Definitely won't be back. We didn't even get our pizza so I have no clue how the pizza is. I ordered carry out over the phone and the women was absolutely rude. I still drove 45 minutes for this pizza because the reviews were really good. When we got there that same woman "cashed" out our order while we were trying to pay with a card. Then her co worker came to help and couldn't fix the issue, asked us if we had cash which we didn't. And not paying an ATM fee to get the money. So instead of easily canceling the order and replacing it so we could pay with card the male coworker was very rude and said "well what do you want to do" therefore we walked out and chose somewhere else to eat. Very disappointing and only left a one star review because Google wont let...
