Pasta Oven — Restaurant in Rock Creek

Update: We decided to give it a second try. Parking was near impossible. The waitress took 40 minutes to get our drink order. We almost left. When ordering my friend literally refused to order in “protest” of how mean the waiter was. Another hour for food, they weren’t busy at this point- so again, we almost left. She basically threw our straws at us in disgust when we reminded her we all need them for drinks. Took wayyy too long for it only having one other person to be able to get our receipt and pay. Again, we almost just left. We had a guest out from Cleveland she kept scowling at and we all noticed. Attitude the entire time. Paying was difficult again as this is the second time they said they didn’t take discover despite taking it the first time. Eventually they got their machine to work. I cannot recommend this establishment.

The food was fine, but there was a white ramen haired waitress that was incredibly rude to our table the entire time, including my friends kid. An old lady had a question and needed a little help and the waitress was straight up mouthy to her. It was disgusting! My friend asked for a manager and told they weren’t there. If I could give negative I would. I have ordered from pasta oven over a dozen time because it's the closest thing to my work that will deliver. ATLEAST 10 OF THOSE TIMES my food has been completely wrong and ALWAYS cold. I just ordered a sandwich and fries for delivery because I'm at work and they have only ever DELIVERED. waited an houR AND 15 MINUTES and called to see if there was a problem. It's right down the road. They then say they thought it was for pick up but then said they thought that was weird because they only ever delivered to us. They said it would be remade and sent out. We were given a menu for Pasta Oven when we checked into a nearby campground. My husband loves pasta, so we made our way over to Rock Creek. The staff was friendly from the start. My husband had the chicken parm and I ordered a calzone. Tuesday is calzone special day, so my one item calzone was $6. Oh my goodness that calzone was huge! The chicken parm was a very generous portion as well. The food was very good, and I have more than enough calzone left to share with my husband for lunch tomorrow.
