Angelo's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Rock Falls

I grew up in the Sterling/ Rock Falls area and grew up on Angelo's, left the area years ago but have always stopped by Angelo's whenever I visited family and friends, tonight's visit was the absolute worst experience I've ever had, I drove from from Davenport IA just to have some Angelo's, the waitress was rude from the very beginning, acted like she couldn't be bothered or even wanted to be there, ordered a couple Italian beefs while waiting for the pizza, also ordered wing's, and Italian bread, the sandwiches were cold, sauce and meat was cold, the waitress didn't apologize for the cold food or offer to make a fresh plate, I was embarrassed for my guest, I brag about this place and my love for it, but I can say never again will I visit this location, the staff should be fired for beyond poor customer service, the other staff was eating behind the counter, which should be a big no no, I did not leave a tip, I will not be returning, the Angelo's I remember used to serve the best food, which kept me coming back for years, poor customer service, cold food,rude and unprofessional staff, next time I'm in the area visiting family I think I'll skip Angelo's and go to Al & Ledas, I will never recommend Angelo's to anyone, zero should be the rating, and to the waitress, if you really didn't want to be there, maybe customer service isn't for you, maybe find a job where you don't interact with people. I'll make sure to tell friends and family that still live there about my experience, maybe they'll go...

I called in my order at the Rock Falls restaurant. Got there and had to wait maybe 10 minutes for my pizza. The employee who said "Hi. May I help you?", was great! 👍He searched for my order until he found it; and, was very pleasant about it. We need more pleasant, proficient, and professional workers in the food service industry. I know how hard and frustrating it can be sometimes. But, this guy was a pro. Wish I could tell you his name..lol As we all know, Angelo's pizza is the best pizza in the whole area. I am always surprised when someone says that they have never tried it. That has to be a sin..lol I recommend Angelo's to everyone! I lived in Vegas for 8 years. Angelo's was always in the back of my thoughts..You knew that when you came home, Angelo's had to be on the itinerary..🤣 Well, I've talked long enough..Have I convinced you to have some Angelo's tonight? Lol 🤣 I hope so. Only downside..Their pizzas with several toppings can end up being very expensive. I had to be honest on that. But, I love you...

The food here is always good, I eat there when I am in the area.

Their specialty pizzas are different from most, very big and very filling. I personally love their spaghetti pizza. Which leads me to anything made with their sauce. It's all delicious. I frequent the family bucket of pastas for my family of four. It's plenty for us and really stinking good

You always have to check your bag here as I often have had things missing. They easily hand it over but when you have a hungry family one doesn't like to have to run back to the restaurant.

Also it's a local town so they were very comfortable about complaining amongst themselves and personally I don't like to wait for my food where people so loudly display thier misery. I'm vulgar myself at times but I can see how people would view it as unprofessional for a family Pizzeria
