Called in a delivery order for two whoppers with cheese, two large fries, and a large onion rings. ($26 food, tax and tip $32) Delivered two regular cheeseburgers and two small mixed onion rings/fries ($15) And after calling the restaurant whose phone volume was so low we could barely hear the other end at all. The manager suggested I drive to the restaurant to resolve the issue, but I paid extra to have it delivered and felt it should be remade and delivered, but she didn't. And I suggested that mamm, I can't hear you, I maybe should just call corporate which made her very angry. She didn't say anything but I heard her throw her phone and hang up. Hopefully it was due to the frustration of no volume on her end because if not, that would be a very unprofessional way to end a call to a paying customer. I got the run around with BK support and an even worse run around with Door Dash, who swears my order isn't even in their system but in Burger Kings. Shame is, I was craving the flame boiled whopper with cheese and extra pickles that took two hands to eat, but had to settle for the poor excuse of a replacement regular cheeseburger that you can eat with a thumb and a couple of forefingers! I'm still out $32 and the meal I ordered. Hopefully someone from the Saluda Street Burger King here in Rock Hill, SC; will reach out to me and make it right. Refund or my meal, but no one is making it right today......nobody! No pride in delivery anymore. Because some else got the wrong order today, my order! I wished we tipped after the service because a tipped is earned just like hourly pay. And if you took two seconds to confirm address and order, mistakes would be avoided in most cases. And yes, I know if I got my lazy butt up and drove to the store there would be no complaints, but I paid for delivery and tipped! They owe me what I...
Read moreI was there on a Sunday afternoon about 2:30. I ordered a combo burger meal to go. I asked the waitress I would like to have some hot fries and that I would wait on them. She informed me that the fries were hot. My order was filled, waitress gave me fries that were under a heat lamp. I tasted the fries and as I expected the were luke warm to cold. I asked if I could have some hot ones and it went down hill from there. I was given attitude, snide remarks. When fries finally came up. The waitress told me that she would get to me when she could. There were no customers waiting remind you. She made herself busy behind the counter rather than to give me my order that I had paid for. I asked for my food. She finally gave me some fries, not a full order. She shoved them into my bag. It was now 3pm. I entered the store at 2:35. Not a thank you for coming in or nothing. All this because I wanted hot fries. I've been to this store before and that visit was unpleasant as well. Since it had been a while I thought I'd give it try since it's the only fast food joint in the neighborhood....
Read moreMost times in recent months when I come here, service is very slow. On average when I came to the drive-through I could expect to wait 20-25 minutes from 'in line' to 'food in hand'.
Today I came to the very odd restriction when I came to the drive through, 'We can only accept cash for the exact amount, no change; and if you have a card, you have to come inside.'
...what? What about taking a credit or debit card can't be done through a drive-through? I get that the cash drawers or safe might be inaccessible, but that means negotiating a tricky cash transaction should be able to be done inside, right?
Well, I went inside. Asked for the featured Whopper on the menu board, and then was told that they were out of that (I wish they'd changed the menu to not show it, if that was true.) I waited, as per the usual, about 20 minutes, for a combo meal. The food once I got it was just fine. But it always seems to take forever here and I'm never...
