Cooper's Corner Ice Cream — Restaurant in Rockford Township

First time going. Staff was friendly. Ice cream variety was good and items offered were familiar with a few creative options, which was a nice surprise. My son and I had The Denmark - a scoop of ice cream topped with soft serve for $7 a cup. Our items were made by different people and our portion sizes were way different. For $7 mine was very underwhelming, his was decent. My husband had 2 scoops for $6. It was just a little over $21 total - I’ll give it another shot, but at those prices I expect a bit more. Prices are definitely comparable to other local spots, but the portions are not. This is literally within walking distance, so I was hopeful to have something so close. The ice cream was so amazing and the young ladies working there are very polite and friendly! We got 2 shakes that were very large portions that my fiancé and brother couldn’t even finish and I had a scoop of ice cream on a cone that was perfect. I was disappointed to see the workers with long hair loose (no attempt to tie it back or hair net), long color full nails (no gloves or attempt to perform hand hygiene) and cross contamination (using the same scooper for various flavors).
