Fozzy's Skybox — Restaurant in Rockford Township

Fozzy’s Skybox literally opened last week so I expected a couple of growing pains. The staff are clearly still learning and that’s okay. Ownership strategically set up a soft opening with a limited (but still quite a variety!) menu so that the staff could learn and improve each day. With that being said, the bartender Hannah was very friendly and engaging, helped to change the tv to a game I wanted to watch.

I ordered the smash burger and it came out to perfection. The edges of the patty were lightly crisped and the center was juicy and overall good flavor.

The atmosphere is amazing and welcoming, even for kids. While the adults can play the video gaming machines, there are pinball tables for the kids. New dart boards as well, which is one of my favorites. Open scenery outlooks the indoor soccer fields on both sides and leads out to an outdoor patio, which will be great for future live entertainment in the warmer months.

Terrible experience. If I could give 0 Stars, I would. Don't waste your time or money. Plenty of other local golf simulators to support like 9 Iron in Belvidere, Golf Shack in Rockford, or Prairie Fire in Byron. Anywhere but here. Booked an hour simulator rental on Sunday 4/14 for 6:30PM. Drove over 30 minutes to get there only to find the doors locked and they were closed. Not only was my reservation accepted and card charged for the rental, but their website said they were open and made no mention of being closed. I called a couple of days later during their posted business hours to try and roll my prepayment forward and reschedule, but after two unanswered calls and leaving a voicemail, I still have heard nothing. I went back to book in person and speak to someone about this during posted business hours and they were closed once again. Such awful customer service and management. Extremely frustrating and disappointing. Never...

Wow is all I can say. Spent many years working with the public and have not seen this poor of attitude towards their customers. Stopped in with my family after we finished dinner to inquire about Birthday party options. We were told the manager/person we needed to speak with was in back cooking.We patiently waited 10 minutes(and would have waited longer) to speak to the manager about pricing and options for the parties(guess they dont have any information printed as that is all we were looking to find out) the bartender then came back out and told my wife "He said dont come in here during lunch or dinner to ask questions only email us". We wanted to check the place out. See what it looks like with the new simulators they put in. Turns out they must not need the business.
