We came here for an early supper/late lunch. Even at 4:00pm, it has hopping.
Several large TV's over the large bar were showing basketball games and a couple of infomercials for those of us who dont watch sports. As with man American pubs, the hard walls, floor, tables, and cieling make for a bit of a loud environment. Everything was clean and well maintained.
We had the Sticky & Sweet Brussels Sprouts and pork belly as an appetizer. It was very tasty, even though the Brussels were a little soft.
My wife had the Korean Sandwich consisting of bulgogi meat, cabbage, pickled red oni9ns, all topped with garlic aioli, on a Cibbatta roll. French fries accompanied and came out piping hot. My wife enjoyed her sandwich, commenting that it was "really good."
Keeping with the Korean food, I had the bulgogi tacos. Tender ribeye, sliced thin and marinated, in a fried corn tortilla, also Topped with shredded cabbage, and their Goat sauce (a creamy sweet, tangy sauce I would think is made in-house).
Again, the flavors were there, and I enjoyed the fillings. I commented that the shells seemed a bit oily and chewy. Our server (who I thought I heard is also the manager?) was perplexed and apologetic. I said it wasn't a big deal as I was full and about to ask for a box to take home.
She said she wanted to make it right, so she took the remaining food back and had the kitchen remake the order. A few minutes later, she returned with freshly made, hot, and crispy tacos.
For something that, to me, was relatively minor, the staff went out of their way to make it right
I will be returning to try other offerings.
The food was good and the service, Excellent!
Well...
Read moreI don't leave bad reviews very frequently, I get that owning a business is hard work, but this was some of the worst service my partner and I ever received. Place was pretty empty when we walked in, maybe 2 folks at the bar, a few couples at tables. Drinks were weak but served quickly, atmosphere was nice enough. Had a decent time for the first 20 minutes or so, but we waited over an hour for the food with NO communication from our waitress. Gal walked right past us and completely ignored us three times. People behind the bar were drinking and talking, no one checked in on us except to ask my boyfriend 'are you a dad?' after an hour of waiting. Ended up walking out without ever being served food. If you value your time, DO NOT go here. Got there at 12:45, left at 1:50 with no food and no communication whatsoever. This place seems like the food looks good and might have potential, but service like this simply...
Read moreOMG!! Not many places make me crave a cigarette after eating. 😆 It's THAT great! This was my husband and I's first time here. We just did a few appetizers to get a feel for their food. Starting with a couple of perfectly calibrated Pepsi's. We ordered Potato Barrels that are like loaded mashed potatoes fried with a perfectly crisp outside. I tried them with the dipping sauce they gave me, kind of like a beer cheese mustard taste. Yet, I found that a little ranch really brought out all the flavors in them very well. We also got the Brussels, artichoke dip and goat cheese. Everything was absolutely well balanced and full of flavor. The staff was extremely friendly. The place was clean and inviting. The other patrons were pleasant as well. We will definitely be returning to try their entrees!! Definitely do recommend...
